Set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta, Anna lives in haunting reclusion, fading away from her friends and career as a journalist. But when she overhears talk about a murder in Dahlonega - the sleepy north Georgia town where she grew up - Anna is snapped back to life, pouncing on the case and searching for answers. Detective Jack Harper is strangely suspicious of her involvement, chasing her into the crosshairs of his own investigation.

First episode was good. Better than expected.

Story feels rushed though. I know with shows like that backstory, etc. is always revealed over time but I still think they could've done more at the beginning.

Characters well...it seems the goal is to make both of them very unlikeable. They achieved that goal at least.
Performances are OK.

Spoiler

I really hope that Episode 2 introduces other suspects. If it's only gonna be a back and forth between those two, it's going to get boring...

Re: His & Hers

First episodes looks interesting, tho one moment was pretty funny

Spoiler

when the detective swapped out his DNA sample with his sisters daughters - cool detective who don't know that from DNA will be known 2 things: 1) It's female DNA; 2) Related to him DNA big_smile

Re: His & Hers

This is a good whodunnit with a properly entangled story which is not obvious. Cast is great.

There are some plot holes, but without most of them them it would be hard to do that chain of misdirections. This is is a show where need to avoid spoilers.

I thought this was the most cold-hearted thing I have seen in a while big_smile...he didn't even hesitate
And then

Spoiler

I actually thought the girl would fall down the stairs when she was walking with his shoes or something, then had to go to the hospital and somehow they would find out that it's her DNA through that smile

Spoiler

Those Timberland boots were a clue for idiots with a huge red arrow what size US10 boot print has been collected. That's also a double plot hole - if he wore those boots day before, why he is not wearing them also the next day plus the obvious how you missed who knows how many bare feet prints. Also the biggest plot hole in this whole story is 40 stab wounds, cause of death a loss of blood + no defensive wounds. What, she was so shocked that the grandma is stabbing her that she decided to lay still and wait till she will bleed out? smile

There were more easy to avoid holes like this. This is based on the book, not sure this already is in the book or Netflix writers simply were too busy thinking how to squeeze in the mandatory polarization bits. In IMDb reviews those who read the book says it's way off. In the book according to a robot the grandma is a teacher not a janitor.

Re: His & Hers

Was gonna give this show a 6/10 - decent overall.
But damn, that ending was at least a 9/10 smile
...did not see that coming, even though they gave us all the clues.
