Animated fox version, first I have ever seen and still my favorite

MGM+ doesn't reliably deliver quality shows, and the trailer doesn't look like it's going to be a great show... Curious to see the IMDb rating a week after episode 1.

I've known of the latter one, but not the first one.

I'm pretty sure I gave the 2006 version a try back then, but can't tell you why I didn't continue watching it. Maybe this is the chance to give it another go smile

Watched the first Episode just now.

Since this was basically just a prequel to the main story, I will give it another episode.

So far I can only say that the main characters (Robert + Marian) have zero personality and zero chemistry with each other.

It's the typical annoying time jump from ~10-12 years old to probably ~18 years old.
But apart from looking older both characters do not seem to have done anything to shape their personalities or interests during this time...just waited around for the plot to happen I guess... meh.

Ok, decided to watch ep1, just to see.  Got about 2/3rds into it and stopped.  I suppose I was predisposed to dislike it to begin with.  Certain stories, IMO, have just been told too many times already.  I mean, there were over 40 title matches for Robinhood at IMDB.  I find it hard to get into to a new show where you already know the main plot.  I would make exception to something that was told poorly the first time and remade to tell it better.

In the case of this show, it didn't seem terrible.  But it definitely wasn't good either. Sean Bean, unfortunately, didn't do anything to help this show.  Almost got the impression he really didn't want to be there.

On a positive note, I did like the forest smile

I got half way through episode 1 and pulled the plug and removed if from my watch list I have more than enough to watch at the moment to waste time with this show.

2 episodes and the back story is complete. E2 was better than E1 so I'm hoping E3 will be better also...only time will tell
