Mayor of Kingstown is set in a small Michigan town where the only industry remaining are federal, state, and private prisons, the story follows the McClusky family, the power brokers between the police, criminals, inmates, prison guards and politicians, in a city completely dependent on prisons and the prisoners they contain. It is a stark and brutal look at the business of incarceration.

I've watched a few episodes so far and it's pretty good, a worthwhile addition to the watchlist.

Yeah. I've watched the whole series and think that it's good. Gritty is the word I use to describe it. I rate it 8 / 10.

A pretty good watch, but they need something novel for the upcoming season (next month) to keep me interested.  The dynamics are starting to become too predictable.

After two episodes in on season 4 and do I see plot going to direction that new warden works with some cartel...
