season 2. episode 1. I thought it was trying too hard and a bit over the top and too much weirdness that detracted from Wednesday her self.

so eps 1-4  watched. it seems that the 8 episodes is 2 stories. episode 4 is a great one full of action and gore and we meet some old "friends". A great cliff hanger except we know all will be alright

Hmm, gave season 02 a try... still don't get the hype. Still feel like they are trying to hard to be original, weird and different but it is just an annoying teen drama. Most of Wednesday snarky retorts and comments are just predictable boring and have been used far too many times over the last century.

I mean, there are real edgy shows out there... Wednesday doesn't come close.

Still looks like a Hallowen episode at Hogwarts.

Watched the first episode of Season 2...well it definitely changed a little bit compared to Season 1, some good things and some not so good things.

Haley Joel Osment is definitely too good an actor to play a 5 minute role...and while I really like Steve Buscemi he doesn't quite fit the role either - or better said, written differently he could've made a lot more with the role.

Pugsley Adams feels a bit too clingy...don't think he would ever really care for having friends.

Wednesday's death stare got a lot more softer, which isn't a good thing. Most of the time she looked more shocked then impartial. In Season 1 it always felt like she was in control of the situation, even if she wasn't she made you feel like she was....this was missing throughout the episode.

The best thing so far is that they did away with the love interests, for me that was the worst thing about Season 1 - if there is one character that doesn't need a love interest it's Wednesday Addams.

Savoring this one, so one episode at a time.

The TSA and Sun Creme joke...cracked me up smile

Loved seeing the Tim Burton animation.

It's also good to see that Gomez and Morticia are playing a bigger role in the season. I also hope for some Lurch action smile After Wednesday my favorite character.

Episode 2...the story is good and most of the characters are fine, except for Wednesday herself...

Season 1 Wednesday would've figured out who her Stalker (number 1) is before Agnes revealed herself...after all she was just a "mini-boss" and not "end-boss"...at least it looks that way.

And the crow on the balcony...would've been great to see her shooting it down with bow and arrow.

She is still displayed as the main character but her actions feel more like supporting character behaviour...more reacting than acting.

Really hope that changes...

With a cast of A list stars... I bet this does a 5 season run like most 10eps streamers (whether it should or not).  That's the magic number any more: 5 seasons.  Its either 5 seasons to be called a 'success' or just 1 season to be called "A limited run special".

Not sure, I think they will keep this going for as long as possible. It is REALLY popular with the teen girls in my social circle. They LOVE the series. Which I guess, is why I can't - as I am not a teenage girl. wink

And the IMDB ratings are still very strong, with the stats on viewership also quite impressive.

Second half of season 2 was definitely better than the first...still didn't reach the heights of Season 1 though.

But decent story and decent ending.

I think it was/is a 1 season wonder. nothing wrong with that but you can have too much of a good thing

Finished season 2. I don't recall how much exactly I enjoyed season 1, but probably about the same as this. Maybe even a bit more.

I'm not actively looking forward to season 3, but there's a good chance I'll end up watching it. cool
