Just clarifying the "ROBBY ROBOT" bit KB
In 1956, the movie, "Forbidden Planet" was released, featuring "Robby, the Robot", who became one of the most well-known robots ever. In the movie, a ship from Earth leaves in search of a missing expedition of which there were only two survivors. Robby the robot also appeared in several other movies and TV shows including "The Twilight Zone" and "Lost in Space".

Guess I'm not into sci-fi, because I don't know most of them. I voted for Data... I'm not a trekkie, but he was the most recognisable character in The Next Generation.

This is hard to decide.
On the one hand you have the Daleks, which are more than creepy, and on the other hand you have Number Six of the new Cylon generation which/who is hot as hell and beats 7 of 9 easily 
So I go for Bender because it's/he's the funniest one and as real as the others
