About halfway I decided it really wasn't that entertaining and dropped it.

The Old Guard was okay, but with the The Old Guard 2's IMDb rating being much worse, I decided to not even try...

Having watched it I can say that it is bad. I was a little inattentive in the latter half so I rewatched that half just to make sure that I hadn't missed something of value but no, it was worse on the second round. It's not superbad so someone might still find a little value in it but.. I'd never recommend it and the faster it disappears from my mind the happier I will be.

Agreed. It was boring as hell. They tried to do worldbuilding but it only amounted to a convenient plot device, not to actually interesting, you know, world.

And considering the ending and the fact that third movie is likely not happening, it's probably not worth going through.
