Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread

I enabled the version I'm working on so you can guys check it out and see what I mean. It's not ideal, as the dropdown is kinda misleading, it's not really "this week" or "next week" it's "previous 7 days", "next 7 days" and the "next next 7 days" which I'm not sure how to convey in a nicer way I don't want to add another setting for this, but I may as well hardcode a 14 day ahead (instead of the current 7) if that's more useful?

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
Oh, ok, I see what you mean now. It works, in a manner, but I have to keep changing the option to see this or next (week). A hardcoded 14 days would work fine (better) for me, not sure about anyone else though. I dont know why you are so adverse to adding a setting, but you could just make it use the "Right Column Calendar" settings (and just rename them "Schedule Display Settings"). They basically do the same thing.

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
This may be one more niche idea from me, but I like to know when a season has aired their last episode. This means I have to check all the shows I'm monitoring a couple times a month or so, to see which ones have aired their last episode, so I can delete the RSS feeds. Is there any intelligent way to somehow let me (any user) know that an episode is the last of the season? For example maybe a change in the episode number text color in the right-side-list on the main page (since I do check that one daily) and in the calendar (which I check only rarely)? And indeed, a color (same color even) for the first episode of a season would likewise be very handy, but the last episode one would definitely be my bigger wish.

We recently discussed the idea of getting email notifications for last episodes, including challenges, but I can't find the URL right now.

Okay, cool. I don't particularly like the idea of email notifications (nobody needs more email), but that would definitely be better than nothing.

Here is where it started: https://forum.next-episode.net/viewtopi … 92#p182992 @ArniVidar - read through the discussion to see why what you're suggesting can somewhat be done, but also what the problem with it is.

I updated it so that: - the items in the drop down better describe the functionality - the options to pick include 14 days ahead - it remembers your choice I think this should suit all needs

Sure, not every series has that info, but it's still excellent to have the information when it is available. Likewise, every single show I'm monitoring has SOME information. When the last show has aired your site always says
Sorry, no info about the next episode of xxxxxxx is available yet. The TV show is either in vacation or waiting to start their new season. When information about future episodes becomes available, it will be posted here.
when there is no known next episode. That IS a known state, even though you and I disagree on what counts as a known state.

It's some state, but it's not "known". - sometimes this will coincide with the last episode of the season being aired, sure - other times there will be mid season break or something and we won't have the info for the second half - other other times (which probably would be the bulk of it) - we just have partial schedule info and not always ahead of time

Then the notifications/ emails could state "[SHOW] probably just aired its current season's last episode (Beta)", with every email also stating something like "Please note that this feature is in Beta: we can't always get the number of episodes per season. Also, extended mid season breaks could cause unreliable last episode detection."

Yes, its a "known" state, however, it does not mean a season has finished. Future/next episodes can often be missing, as their air date is not yet known. Also, in many cases, the final episode count for a season isnt known, so you cant rely on that.

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
Go to the browse section: https://next-episode.net/browse/ and then pick a channel: https://next-episode.net/browse/?channel=163 (or click on the channel on any show details page and see the list of all shows on this channel)

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
Hi, This show (https://next-episode.net/suits-la) shows up as ‚Suits: L.A.‘ but should be ‚Suits LA‘. The additional symbols interfere with the tagging/search engine feature. Could I bother to change it? Thx tavik

As all other sources now show it as Suits LA - it's now renamed in here as well. Cheers!

(I take it this is not the right place for this post, sorry about it)
