Topic: Show Acquired Status - toggles both movies and episodes

If you tick show acquired status this is toggling for both episodes and movies.
Can this be separated?
As it useful more for Movies and my thoughts are not as useful for episodes, but if the toggle worked independently on those two options then users can make a choice for each smile

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'll need to see some more demand for such functionality before it makes it as a feature, but as a work around, what you can do is always use these sections via bookmarks like:

https://next-episode.net/track?showacquired=0
https://next-episode.net/movies/?showacquired=1

Hello! So I actually came to the forums here in search of more info about the "mark acquired" feature, so this post seems like the perfect place to ask! What does "acquired" mean, exactly? Is it a way of marking the shows/movies/episodes you already have access to? (via streaming/purchase/rental, etc.??)

Also, when I click on "My Movies" why do some movies show multiple times? I haven't tried using the "mark as acquired" check boxes yet... does it have something to do with this feature? If we choose NOT to use the "mark as acquired" feature, is there a way to get each movie to show only once upon initial search, without having to click on additional filters?

Hi nancydrewlewes,

It means different things to different people, but some use it as a method of tracking shows in Plex or other straming service where you can add it to a list of shows that you need to watch.

It doesn't need to be used in that way, you can use it how it suits you.
I don't use that part of the track page, just the "Mark as Watched" option.

DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".

Which movies, for example, do you see shown multiple times?
