Re: Features/Improvements Requests

I think the info of "on how many watchlists a show is" would be interesting to see in the "Watchlist" tab.

It might encourage people to post in the forum about shows they really like but aren't on many Watchlists - spreading the word.
It could show up once you sort by "Popularity" similar as to how "my rating" shows up when i sort accordingly (below the picture).

Since the information is already on the show page, it would only have to be added there.

Shows that deserved more runtime:
Abbys | Dead Like Me | Devs | Firefly | Gangsta. | Jack of all Trades | Kevin (probably) saves the World | Lodge 49 | Mrs. Davis | NYC 22 | Powerless | Roadkill | Special Unit 2 | Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi | Stumptown | Surface | The Brave | The Company You Keep | The Crazy Ones | The Finder | The Middleman | Truth Seekers | Two Weeks to Live | Whiskey Cavalier

Sounds good to me. It may happen at some point, soon.

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Add "Movies" to the next-episode home calander version (not the online version which has it) to be able to see on the home version of next-episode calendar.

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

I just noticed that in the browse tab there is no difference between a show that is "Canceled/Ended" and "Canceled, Never Aired".

Two examples:
https://next-episode.net/mata-hari
https://next-episode.net/surveillance

On the show page it states the correct status, so "Canceled, Never Aired" but in the Browse tab it only says "Canceled, Ended".

In my opinion this makes a big difference since you can never watch "never aired" shows, so if you go through the Browse tab to look for new shows and come across one that says "canceled/ended" you assume that there are episodes to watch and maybe add it to your Watchlist.

I think the following options should be considered:
- Show the correct status in the browse tab
- Disable the option for those shows to be added to the Watchlist (because what would be the point when no episodes will ever be aired)

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Makes sense.

Added the status cancelled/never aired to the lists. I don't see value in preventing users from adding these to their watchlists.

Cheers!

I do see the logic in this, but another studio may pick it up in the future and release it, if episodes exist.

DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".

In those cases the status should change accordingly and we will be able to add them smile

There's value in people being able to add them before santah gets around to change the status manually (for those shows where that is required). smile

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

The Mandalorian should be set to an inactive show as it was sadly cancelled.

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

My homepage displays first season/pilot episodes; could that choice be added as a toggle on the Calendar, please? I've been a little out of touch and would like to be able to scroll back to see what new shows I've missed.

Is there an official word on that?

I guess not:

As of June 2025, a fourth season of The Mandalorian has not been officially confirmed.  While series creator Jon Favreau completed scripts for Season 4 by early 2023, production was delayed due to the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes.  During this period, Lucasfilm shifted focus to a feature film titled The Mandalorian & Grogu, scheduled for release on May 22, 2026.

This film is intended to continue the story of Din Djarin and Grogu.  It remains unclear whether the movie will serve as a conclusion to their journey or pave the way for future seasons of the series.

In summary, while there is no official announcement regarding Season 4, fans can look forward to The Mandalorian & Grogu in 2026, which will further explore the adventures of the beloved characters.
