Topic: Are the episodes of BSG on PeacockTV full episodes, or are they edited

I'm currently rewatching BSG on Peacock, and I've noticed that sometimes the intro shows scenes from the prior episode that were not previously shown. This is only my second time rewatching BSG, so I'm still catching up on everything, but I'm unsure if Peacock is airing the full episodes or if there's some editing involved.

In particular, there's a specific conversation shown in the "previously" segment that I definitely did not see in the last episode.

I had the same problem when I rewatched BSG. Maybe Peacock used the TV cut so some scenes were missing, but still included previously. If you want to be sure, compare it to the DVD version.

You may find that when a service licences a TV show the licence states that they can not be shown in order or not all episodes are available.   I know this is common in the UK for US.

NCIS is a good example.  In one episode someone could die, but in the next aired episode they are back again - they are shown wildly out of order, not even the same season.

DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".
