Follows two Navajo police officers, Leephorn and Chee, in the 1970s Southwest, as their search for clues in a grisly double murder case forces them to challenge their own spiritual beliefs and come to terms with the trauma of their pasts.
Dark Winds is currently in it's third season and keeps going strong.
It has, as the name implies, a lot of dark and gritty undertones and delivers well on them.
It's sometimes a bit slow on pacing and some of the characters could use a little bit more development but overall it's a good show.
Apart from being a cop show it delves slightly into the lives and traditions of Najavo in the 70s which I think is an interesting combo. Ignorant as I am I have no idea how accurate any of it is.
My favorite character is Bernadette Manuelito played by Jessica Matten and I am glad that she got her own storyline in Season 3.
