Story

Kingdom of Bohemia, Early 15th Century: chaos has befallen the kingdom.

For years I've been looking forward to the story of KCD II, and I'm very surprised it was unveiled today and coming out this year; can't wait.

*Edit: Bunch of liars, it's not coming out this year, it's coming out February 11, 2025....maybe.

I'm hoping they improve NPC realism to be more lifelike and interactive, and, sort out the bugs so it isn't a glitch mess like KCD I was on launch.  The KCD score and character texture quality is the benchmark, and to me, better than RDR2.

If you've watched Mythic Quest, KCD is the game they use the most in their segue's for Raven's Banquet.

It's not really an upgrade, it's a direct continuation to the first game, like, instead of spending a fortune using Unreal engine they continued to use CryEngine but added more stories and more quests.  Feels like a blast from the past, and what the first game should've been.

So, I finally finished KCD 2 (you may have noticed I haven't been on the forums for a while) and the writing of KCD 2 is fantastic, there's a story towards the end of the game called "The Italian Court" which is absolutely hilarious.  Father Godwin, a disgraced priest, dresses up as a Catholic Cardinal, to infiltrate the Italian mint, and the drunker he gets, the better his Italian, and the more he sobers up the worse his Italian, so you have to keep drinking throughout.  Here's what it looks like:

Probably the funniest level I've ever played because the acting was so good, and overall it's the best video game experience I've ever had, but it's not over, there is a ton of new content coming out over the next year as shown in their roadmap trailer, so to be continued...
