In Going Dutch a decorated, hard-ass colonel is tasked with running the least important U.S. Army base in the world, located in the tulip-hugging, wine-chugging Netherlands.

I don't get the bad reviews on this one. Is it stupid?, yes...is it the best written show?, no...but is it fun?, absolutely smile - and that's all I need from a pure comedy show.
So if you are looking for a good laugh, give it a try.

I have seen two episodes, it was kinda meh. Will have to see a few more to decide.

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Halfway through the first season, still loving it.
It makes me laugh, so it serves it's purpose.
Whoever is looking for a good laugh, this will do just fine smile

The ending of the first Season wasn't really the best, but it was still a funny season. Overall 3/5.

I loved Dennis Leary's standup and gave the first season a try. There was just nothing good about the show, so I dropped it. To my surprise it was renewed, so I tried a couple of current episodes and found that nothing had improved.

There is so much good TV out there and so many people trying to get good shows funded.

How is this still on?

ok i have seen season 1
is it great?  hell no.
is it bad?   hell no.

it has its ups and downs.
it hits here and misses there.
the acting is good for what it is.

the writing is ok for the most part.
it is a bit of a throw back to sitcoms of the past.
and i like that.
( i hated the office and many other "popular" mindless crap)

i have watched better shows be canceled
and worse ones go forever.

it seems that painfully traumatic situational comady is far more popular
then anything that requires an attention span of longer then 14 minutes.

i think they still produce Americas funniest home videos
so the ratings have nothing to do with quality.

season two is not as good as season one so far.
just finished episode 10 season 2

its over now and season 2 really dropped the writing.
which is not saying much considering the show was just barely watchable at its best.

there are some good actors in the show.
but the writing and the scenario just lacked any where for the show to go past season one.

very very few memorable moments.
so it will go on the pile soon forgotten.
