Re: The Old Man [Drama, Action, Thriller]
I was disappointed with the lack of an ending to series 1. I guessed at about episode 2 what it is that Faraz Hamzad actually wants (and why) and as the show went on I became more and more convinced. However getting to the end of the series and not getting to know the truth was a real let-down. I don't like to invest that much time into a show (no matter how good it seems) only to be left wondering about what was in fact the whole raison d'etre of series one.

Re: The Old Man [Drama, Action, Thriller]
I must say, I almost dropped this show at the end of Season 1, but decided to give Season 2 a shot. Episode 1 of Season 2 unfortunately was "just OK". ▼Spoiler What bothered me the most was how they made so little use of Harper. I get it, the star of the show is Chase, but overall this is a spy drama. Now they entered Afghanistan and you would think the FBI Director of Counterintelligence would be the star of the episode with his 30 years of knowledge (spycraft is the mastery of knowledge afterall). Having connections, knowing names, etc. But somehow the guy who hasn't had any intelligence briefing in 30 years still has the upper hand. I think it would've been better if they basically made Harper "do the talking" and Chase "do the punching" kinda partnership here. Let's hope for a better Episode 02.
Shows that deserved more runtime: Abbys | Dead Like Me | Devs | Firefly | Gangsta. | Jack of all Trades | Kevin (probably) saves the World | Lodge 49 | Mrs. Davis | NYC 22 | Powerless | Roadkill | Special Unit 2 | Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi | Stumptown | Surface | The Brave | The Company You Keep | The Crazy Ones | The Finder | The Middleman | Truth Seekers | Two Weeks to Live | Whiskey Cavalier

Yeah, season 02 was off with a pretty „meh“ start… didn’t even manage the first episode „in one sitting“

Yes @ "meh" and... damn cliffhangers! At least 2x2 was better than 2x1.

Trying to think of ways they could have a 3rd cliffhanger about the same scene

Watched 2x3. Second season is still disappointing when compared to the first.

Yeah, it picked a bit up in ep02 and ep03 but still, I feel like "I do not care". ▼Spoiler The whole family drama is weakly constructed and uninspired and the geopolitical one confusing and really not that exiting.

Re: The Old Man [Drama, Action, Thriller]
I agree, I may drop this one for something better. S1 was more action.

I think it was more season 01 was about a "bad ass mysterious old man" which carried the whole season. Season 02 about some whiny family drama.

Yeah this exactly. Needs more spycraft shenanigans from The Dude. Although the bickering between Lithgow and The Dude has some fun potential. ▼Spoiler Not even going to as where The Dude miraculously found that big ol sniper rifle out in the desert
