Topic: Bodkin [Comedy, Drama, Thriller]

Bodkin is a darkly comedic thriller about a motley crew of podcasters who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in an idyllic, coastal Irish town. But once they start pulling at threads, they discover a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined. As our heroes try to discern fact from fiction - about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves - the series challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to justify our beliefs or validate our fears.

Re: Bodkin [Comedy, Drama, Thriller]

hmm, rather disappointing ... and more boring than interesting
... with more/better comedy it might have worked? Its forgettable with an often quite rough and far fetched story with an absurd ending - but mostly characters and acting were/was "ok"...

so it was mostly "ok" but not a recommendation

Re: Bodkin [Comedy, Drama, Thriller]

Yeah it got worse as it went, moved away from drunken moron stuff to crime stuff. Ended up decidedly mid

Re: Bodkin [Comedy, Drama, Thriller]

I enjoyed it.  From the trailer it looked like more of a dark comedy, but there weren't that many laughs.  But I still liked it.

2020.  Meh.
