A thriller about survival and human dignity. It tells the stories of youth who lived during a time when sovereignty and human rights were taken away from them, and they had to put their lives on the line just to achieve the most basic happiness.

Jang Tae Sang is a wealthy man of Bukchon. Rather than being interested in justice, the current reality of his life is most important to him. However, a threat appears when he encounters a woman who will completely change his life. The drama will follow that process in detail and raise the question of how to live like a human.

Re: Gyeongseong Creature (Netflix Korea: Drama / Horror / Fantasy)

Well i really wasn't sure about this one :-)

Many asian productions are -for my taste- somewhat corny/cheesy/kitschy which i mostly do not like. The trailer left me uncertain, and even EP01 didn't make it easy for me.
But it was definitely not bad - so i watched it and surprise surprise: it became much more intense and better and better and better!

So i rate them personally as:
Part I 4★: EP01-07: A constant mix from 3.5★ - 4.5★
Part II 4.5★: EP08-10: All a full 4.5★ (despite some "flaws", EP10 only barely 4.5★)
(Some scenes in the first episodes are only 3★ maybe even less, but they become rare fast)

... and now i really look forward to season 2 wink

Is it well made? I would say: "yes indeed":

"Technicals" like sound/light/special-effects are well and professionally made! The "Creature" i a bit rough, but expect some unexpected special effects!

Acting, plot, dialogues, script, cut and drama are also really well made! But be patient, it develops :-)

What to expect:

The show has some flaws, but since the good outweigh the bad profoundly, i wholeheartedly recommend this for everyone who likes:
- Quality drama and drama that addresses real and nasty issues!
- Detective-Drama-Setups
- Drama-Setups around the 1940s
- Fight-Against-Tyranny-Drama-Setups
There is also some really quite good action and actually loads of blood, but don't expect a primary horror-setup - which i am really glad for.

One "warning" in advance:

All scenes in the town are quite obvious made in a studio.
I got a bit irritated by that, it looks quite wrong/unreal and a bit unprofessional but i suggest:
Just ignore it  cool

Other good / very good series produced in and/or playing in asia i can recommend:
