The key here - after decades of collecting books, movies and music in all sorts of formats and repeatedly failing at categorization - is to fight your natural tendency to over-think things.
I'd suggest you start with only three tags first, naming them however you please, but with this general design: "Watching Now", "To Watch Later" and "Dropped".

I've got the watching tag as default visible (and recently I've even begun sorting by latest episode aired, which is an interesting experiment), then I go to the todo list to decide on what to watch next and move those to the watching tag, and then I shove things into the Dropped list when I want to be rid of it. I then only use the Stop Tracking function for shows that are still airing, and would thus appear in the calendars and all such places on the site.

Aside from the main three, I've actually got a fourth main category of "Meh, maybe later", which is a step above Dropped. Sort of a semi-dropped.
Then I've got half a dozen other tags, but they're all additive/tertiary and outside the general idea of the 3/4 main categories.

No, because that moves it down to a giant list at the bottom of the tracking page, which I hate, and Dropped is only one of the states of being, so I'd need the tags anyway.

But I'm so good at overthinking things! And we all need a hobby, right?

What tag do you use (if at all) for shows that are currently airing and you are collecting, but not actively watching?

Movies on my movies to watch list don't show on the calendar under there release date, i have ticked the box in setting for this, but only a couple of the movies from my list show on my calendar. am i doing something wrong or it a glitch?

Mean Girls is on calendar 10/1/24, Bob Marley - One Love 10/1/24, The Beekeeper 11/1/24, Wanted Man 19/1/24 are a few from my movie list that don't show on calendar. I know it's only a new addition to the settings so it's no major deal. I can always check the movies from my list till you can check. Thank You for your quick response shows that you care about members.

It appears to be working great. Movies are in now, once again man all prop to you on your work and keep it up, this is so much the best one of these type of database style information sites around. Once again thank you for your speedy response and fix.

On the Schedule page, select "Shows from all channels"
The "All channels" drop-down has an rouge entry at the top.

calendar tweak request: show shows on 1st season - month / week calendar.

I just tested the functionality and it works.

Any chance you have a browser extension that is messing with the site code? If you have an adblocker or a privacy addon of some sort, can you temporarily turn it off so we see if it was messing it up?

It was most likely uBlock origin (if you use that). They're extremely aggressive in updating their filters to block Next Epiosde anti adblock message these days and often break functionality (and fix it when reporting it).
