The Lazarus Project is a top secret organization dedicated to preventing mass extinction events - with the ability to make time go backwards.

Just finished S1 of this show and it's really good. Guessing those of you in the states without peers will have to wait to stream though. It's good start to finish and with any luck will get a second season since cliffhanger.

Has a sort of sci-fi-lite action/spy movie feel like something along the lines of Gattica or Minority Report.

Re: The Lazarus Project

I really liked this one which usually means early cancellation lol.

Re: The Lazarus Project

Thanks, the trailer looks pretty good. Might check out this show in the future.

Thanks Lighton - nice abbreviation of the decidedly TLDR description big_smile

Re: The Lazarus Project

I have watched e01 so far and enjoyed it definitely one I will keep watching. Certainly the story is an interesting one.

Re: The Lazarus Project

Hmm, not sure about this one.  I'm over half way through and find it a bit... samey?  I don't know what the word is.  A few plot holes, it's cliched, I have issues with the main character and the story.

Other than that, it's great smile

2020.  Meh.

I've just finished the last 3 episodes and I take it all back,  I really enjoyed it.  Looking forward to season 2...  If there is one.

Surprisingly, yes. An entertaining watch so far. We'll see if they can keep that up.

Re: The Lazarus Project

finished s2. still good. love when a season ends on a note that could work whether the show's renewed or cancelled.

Re: The Lazarus Project

I'm late to the party, but finally watched 1x1. I liked it, will watch more. smile

11

Re: The Lazarus Project

I just rewatched first season. And i liked a lot.
Will start season 2. Hope is good like the first.

Re: The Lazarus Project

Just finished season 1 for this. Pleasantly surprised how enjoyable this was. Pretty nice gimmick for a show.

Re: The Lazarus Project

They've introduced some interesting ideas in this show. IIRC it was in 1x3 when they came up with torture by...

...having to repeat giving birth over and over and over again in a time loop. yikes

P.S.: Out of curiosity, I regularly look up stock photos for topics I read or write about. Now I've found the craziest ever:

Re: The Lazarus Project

Alright, binged season 2 as well. Overall very good. Do recommend

But one thing that started bugging me a lot was the amount of times they'd show the same scene over and over and it wasn't even because of the

timeloop. Some episodes really felt half "previously on..." segments.

Re: The Lazarus Project

Watched S2 and really enjoyed it and now wondering if and what they could do for a S3

Re: The Lazarus Project

I'm really enjoying this, thanks for the recommendation.
Nearly finished series 1.

This did make me laugh though.
Does it not look WELL off to you?

Re: The Lazarus Project

Yes, Deke, totally off. smile

I enjoyed season 1, but the intermittent (and thankfully rare) sillyness didn't work for me, like ...

Spoiler

...when he burned the car and it not only exploded, but also the dead body inside the car landed in front of his feet.

And why did they introduce the missing "Big Boy" by showing a photo of a proper nuclear missile truck, but then it turned out to be something that looked like it was welded together in a third-world country over night to try a nuclear Nigerian prince fraud?! But anyway...

The season finale was good! Will continue with season 2.

Re: The Lazarus Project

Nah lighton, the first thing you described was fine, it's been used plenty over the years, and the ending to that scene genuinely made me lol
The second thing is just TV. not a deal breaker.
The clip I showed is just weird to me, that it gets to make the final cut.
It's not supposed to be comical, I wonder how nobody mentioned it being so fake looking. Just pay for a stock video or something..

Re: The Lazarus Project

I disagree a bit. wink

I think the issue was that they for some reason wanted him to see the plane take off, so they couldn't use stock video (where the planes take off far away from people wandering around at the airport).

Re: The Lazarus Project

It looks like it's on string lol
Fucking, bunny hopping plane alert.

'The Lazarus Project' Won't Come Back to Life for Season 3

sad

Re: The Lazarus Project

i'm ok with that since it at least it resolved the main threads. better than hanging on too long

Re: The Lazarus Project

True, true...

Re: The Lazarus Project

After watching 'The 3 bodies problem' - I can say without a doubt that 'Lazarus' was better.

There are many similarities, but the best results were here in 'Lazarus'
