Re: Ancient Aliens [Documentary, Pseudoscience]

I just watched the eps called "The Star People" dealing with the indigenous people of North America. What was sad was the imputation of esoteric knowlege that exceeds our own - even the indian spokesmen they got had corrupted their oral traditions in claiming that "they" came from the cosmos. The whole series seems to attribute a concept of the sky and beyond that only arrived with Copernicus and Newton  - before then in the West we had the so called Ptolemaic model of the earth being the centre of things and the stars stuck on celestial spheres centred on the earth. I read some where the stars were regarded as holes and light shone through - the stars were not places like the earth. I seriously doubt the natives of North America were more advanced.

Until you realize that the intelligence services puts out this kind of nonsense all the time to delegitimize dissidents and tinfoil hats not to mention the obscure chance that e.g. Russia or China picks up on this story and waste resources on it.

another conspiracy theory to add to the "truth"?

No, that's what intelligence services do, James Bond ain't real, it's a game of seeding false narratives and retrieving real information.

Not allowed to have a different opinion these days.. Here come the the opinion police telling us how to think

I don't know if the ancient aliens guy will be vindicated, but both Bob Lazar and David Grusch have now gone public and stated we do have recovered advanced crafts that are not of human design. I don't know if that's true, but I think it could possibly be.

What we do know from declassification 2 years ago on July of 2021 is that there are several hundred cases from the 2005 to today. We also know the USS Nimitz incident and the two released videos from that, AKA the "Go Fast" video and the "Tic-Tac" video. Both of which were confirmed by the US Navy and DOD as real videos. There are also hundreds of accounts from military personnel whom are 'trained observers' meaning, not only are the pilots, but they're pilots trained specifically to identify enemy aircraft when they sight them in the air. Not to mention literally thousands of documented statements from non-trained observers in the military, and civilian pilots as well.

That's just a tiny fraction of what's been released over the years. I'd advise looking into UFO interviews with people that headed the nuclear energy programs in the US, several of whom have gone on record stating that our nuclear arsenal has been tampered with.

Several known heads of Project Bluebook and it's ancestral counterparts have written some seriously interesting books too.

I'm confident that they not only exist, but they're definitely alien. I've had my own close encounter, which is a shitty experience in the end because either no one believes you or they think you're crazy if you talk about it. Which is why it's so exciting seeing guys like Lue Elizondo, David Grusch, George Knapp, Bob Lazar, and even Tome Delongue in his own way, get up and talk about these things. They're real, that's not even really up for debate to me. The question really is how much do we know about them?

NASA presentation on UFO tracking. They show the metallic orb UFO which is 'most common' and 'seen all over the world'. There are also over 800 cases of craft that are detected via satellites that NASA cannot explain in the single YEAR that it's been operating and detecting them btw.

Re: Ancient Aliens [Documentary, Pseudoscience]

It is hard to know what to make of all this stuff. and the people making the claims. giorgio tsoukalos and his show does the matter no favours? Given how many people believe in gods and religeon I am not surprised that some also believe in this stuff. It would be a sad day if giorgio tsoukalos of the wild hair was vindicated as his investigative credentials are rubbish. Any one who has watched Startrek and its wise non interferance policy could only conclude that if there are alien visitors then they are day trippers holiday makers  like us who like to explore other cultures & just messing up eg "car" breaking down ( or even pranksters  wanting to scare the shit out of us earthlings) But to come all this way for that seems far fetched.

There's kind of this idea that real information is fed to non-credible sources. ET for example by Steven Spielberg... it had a consultant from project bluebook on that and Close Encounters by Spielberg. The thought is that they helped him with the accuracy of the aliens so it wouldn't be as much of a shocker to the public when they are one day revealed. Ancient Aliens may also be real information being trickle fed to the public. Can you imagine if he's right? What that would do to the world religions?

I'm not religious either and have a hard time believing anything without proof. Had I not had my experience I wouldn't believe in aliens either. That's one of the most frustrating parts about all this too, to me it's not a question or belief, it's cold hard fact.

As far as the star trek non interference clause goes, we can only hope that's the moral philosophy they prescribe to. When you can mine asteroids and move FTL, material wants and needs probably vanish. So I agree with you that they probably don't need anything from us specifically. However I think you underestimate the value of biodiversity. I could totally see aliens collecting DNA. Especially if say... the dominant species of the planet was causing a mass extinction due to over population and pollution. Worst case scenario is humans are really really tasty and considered to be fine dining amongst certain species.

Re: Ancient Aliens [Documentary, Pseudoscience]

Lol it'll be interesting for sure if those are confirmed. Mexico dropping alien bodies with DNA analysis and detailed scans and imaging was certainly unexpected.

It's beyond time we finally got let in on the truth though. I'm pretty doubtful these are authentic though... who knows, next week or so will be interesting for sure.

Yeah, the implications of lowering travel cost and time to almost zero are HUGE. I read lots of science fiction growing up, and introducing such travel options to our planet would cause lots of changes. Wanna meet in the Gobi desert for a quick cocktail in 30 minutes? cool

Not if travel doesn't involve lots of time and cost.

Oh, they've managed to explain (away) many things, I'm sure they'll be (mostly) fine. wink
