Arthdal Chronicles

Sadly, I finished the 18th episode yesterday.  I really, really liked this show.  It's on hiatus now since 2019 but with a little research I learned they've just recently started filming again and season 2 should be ready in 2022.  That's a heck of a long time but at least I only just watched season one.

Had to read English subtitles which was ok except for the few times I seemed to nod off (trying to keep up when I should have been sleeping).  Such adventure.

Seems like an interesting show, I will give it a shot!

The 3 year hiatus is even weirded when you realize it has had 3 seasons and they were all released in the same year (accoring to IMDB)...

Did you like it?

I watched the trailer but found it too dramatic (like Asian shows sometimes are), will skip this show. I prefer stuff like https://next-episode.net/kingdom-2019. smile

Earlier this week, it was reported that “Arthdal Chronicles 2” would begin airing this September. On May 23, a tvN representative clarified, “Season 2 of ‘Arthdal Chronicles’ will air in the second half of the year. Nothing has been confirmed regarding the broadcasting schedule.”

There will be new actors to play the roles of Eunseom and Tanya but otherwise the same actors for Tagon and other characters.

Second half of the year I suppose doesn't expressly mean September, could be July or August perhaps.

We'll see.
