For that drama school hysteria is a fast forward function, tho in the last season it all came together ▼Spoiler by showing that such dysfunctional people can miss the fact they are dating an assassin with rage issues

Ya, Anthony Carrigan is hilarious as Noho Hank, watch this youtube clip from the start time I set, it's so funny : https://youtu.be/XWsMvAMoV6k?t=666
@Tasviewer - I never found anything in this show boring, from the pilot episode this was a home run to me. I really liked the drama school part as well, g371, and in some ways, I kinda miss it, as it was the procedural part of the show, almost like Dexter trying to be normal and fit in....but only Bill Hader, lolz.

ooooo...thanks for that link man...you do the script, writing, finding locations, extras, filming, lighting, and so forth...and pure genius excellent scenes like this comes from awesome actors improvising ,,,,,....and a director zoning out Joking aside...many directors would probably not get this and just redo the scene to match the script. I saw Mr. Carrigan on some talk-show saying NoHo originally was scripted as a pedantic guy, and Carrigan evolved it into his own creation which is great

4x1 and 4x2, such great TV. I hate that it's the final season. ▼Spoiler
The slow motion shot right after this, with the blood running down his head, was so unsettling.
Noho: We have to save Barry, We have to kill Barry. LOLZ.

Re: Barry
Ep 1 done, there is no way they can keep ▼Spoiler Bazza in the big house. He'll stumble his way into an unwitting escape. My latest potty guess; as theyre transiting him to his arraignment or whatever its called the security truck is blindsided by a car and somehow Bazza is jolted free and staggers off into the night. He somehow ends up in Noho Hanks old house with the "wrong kind of sand" out the window.

I love how Bill pulls ideas from real life, and the fun process they have writing something they'd want to watch: Referring to episode 4x2 and the Dave & Busters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNCpFC2MMFA

This was great, I have so much time for Behind the scenes. Winkler is just the best.

Damn, I read this post before viewing so was eagerly awaiting ▼Spoiler Bazza to go full columbine on the Fonz or Noho Hank or someone. Still though, intense. And wild. WILD. DO NOT tell me that ending was a dream sequence...

Haha, no idea what'll happen next or where this will lead, but what an outstanding episode! I'm a bit surprised there aren't more comments about it. Is no one watching this? The next project Bill & Alec come up with should just get rubber stamped imo. This kind of storytelling is perfect. 10/10.

ep 5, that could be the most ▼Spoiler fascinating "boring" episode in televisualle history. Mrs ▼Spoiler Bazza seems way more attractive as a brunette

Agreed. So boring, so was Succession. ▼Spoiler The best line was, "Who's Barry?". Haha. As for Sally, I think it's just the character she creates when she puts on the wig. I'm assuming they've been permanently acting and in character while they've been in hiding, that's why they're so miserable.

Re: Barry
1x5 and 1x6 well written, but kinda slow and straightforward. ▼Spoiler Sally's so out of it, what a tragic story. Fuches and Noho I took for dead, but I suppose they had to bring them back.

Re: Barry
I feel like the last few eps have been building up to something but at the expense of being anywhere near as good as normal. Way below par.

Paisley, by "fascinating "boring" episode" I meant somehow it should have been boring but its so well done its fascinating even when nothing happens. Still loving it. ep 6 God only knows what ▼Spoiler NohoHank has done here in the future to get that mega rich. That house was absolutely off the chain Can't believe no one got whacked in that episode. There were about 5 main characters who couldve easily got the chop

Ya it's captivating, for sure, cause it's so nuts. The last two episodes should've been released together, just because they were such a huge change in pace. What do you think about this theory: ▼Spoiler Sally's house being destroyed was actually her doing it, or, all in her mind. I just thought she was so out of it that the guy she strangled in the diner came with a friend dressed in black to get revenge and destroyed her house, but to think she's got split personality of some kind, is a bit of a stretch to me. As for Fuchs, he wears the tats and thug life, really well. The fact that Noho's stayed in power is so ridiculous, lolz. And ya, next ep, I'm expecting a gang war, Barry to the rescue, etc. Gotta end with a bang.

I think that the last few episodes have all felt very surreal, as if someone is just imagining everything. But that would be very silly.

One thing I am missing from earlier seasons, is the amazing theme tune, just kicking in from out of nowhere, about 5 minutes in to the show. So good.

Love it how the "baddies" are just kind of adorable twits. Fun gay guy Noho Hank. Fuches the self-styled El Hefe who ▼Spoiler returns to sender the heads of the elite killsquad within the hour ffs. LOL it's all falling to bits for the poor old Fonz.

Called it! I figured 1x7 would be a... ▼Spoiler ...gang war (budget cuts on rockets, lolz, so funny) and they'd force Barry to rescue Sally. It's how I'd write it. Love that the name of the final episode is: wow Great call back to the joke last season. Here's a great interview: Bill Hader on Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend

Agreed. Fairly ▼Spoiler laborious denouement. Felt like the last 3rd was taken up with that dull-as-shit reenactment bullshit. Ended up fast forwarding past that right to the goddamn end.
