Would it have been better with a male/female relationship? Don’t know. I wasn’t bothered a bit that it was two dudes. I didn’t had the feeling them being gay was forced onto me “just because”. It made sense for the story of the episode and was ok.

And with the ending of that episode, the embedding into the general story was well established. So, no… I don’t get all the hate here.

Meanwhile I will keep doing pranks of simply not watching these, just dropped Nancy Drew even as a background noise when got to the heart breaking episode when some missing women search "was not prioritized because she was black". There are hundreds of shows and movies to watch instead.

Fear of gay people, strong independent woman, blacks and indigenous people, pronouns, gender fluidity, blue hair, gender parity and irresistible desire to appropriate some culture(s) - did I miss something? Have not been on Twitter for a while, probably by now there are a couple new branches as well, that creativity looks like is bottomless (basically can use random word generator and prefix with man- or append with -phobia and done).

btw how ended the holy war against the manspreading? They won or simply started to spread as well? This one have not seen yet injected in any series.

What even are you talking about? The article there is from a, quote Wikipedia, "American conservative news website" quoting the director who is saying he wanted people to see that gay love is also just love. Putting the least friendly-sounding phrase into the headline doesn't change anything about that. The video (which, for some reason, doesn't seem to have a link to the article?) rephrases the headline to sound slightly more sensationalist, then just reads it out in an angry voice and rants about it for a bit. Which, looking up that youtuber, seems to be a thing he does. What point do you think is being made here?
