Topic: Worst TV show turned movie(s)?
What do movie studios do when they want to cash in on a proven forumla - just make a movie out a TV show. There have been some very good ones, and there have been some very, very bad ones. And it's the latter I want you to judge. Out of the list of 22 TV shows turned movies that I've included in the poll, which do you think has been the very worst? As always, these forums are open for you to discuss the poll, and remind me of all the really obvious ones I've forgotten about.

It doesn't show up on Opera. I've tried FF and now I can see it. Thanks for the tip. So my vote goes to Dukes of Hazzard. Horrible movie and I didn't even think about renting the other one (DoH: The Beginning).

the first TMNT movie was freakin' awesome. The Secret of the Ooze and Sands of Time sequels sucked though. The Simpsons movie though...what a steaming pile. Even the crappy episodes of the show were more entertaining than the movie.

hehehe yeah but even when i was a child i had the formula of the series already worked out after a few episodes and i was like 6

Blasphemy!!! The part where the polar bear kicked the smaller animal away in anger, brilliant There was more of course but that scene just popped to mind.

i had to go with Aeon Flux.... mostly because it was the only case where i had seen the show AND the movie :S

Who voted for South Park? Bigger, Longer and Uncut was a great movie that did the show justice :-D

Sex & the City because the TV show already sucked and I've only seen the trailer but that was more than enough. I know, not really the question here but I just hate SATC so much, I couldn't NOT vote for it.

that fell into a 'worst' category, i should add... goes without saying i've seen Firefly/Serenity, but i would NEVER... NEVER, EVER click that button... when it came to Star Trek, i have only really seen TOS and Voyager tv series and 1 'next gen' movie, so that didn't count... don't care for The Simpsons and most of the rest of the list is classic shows that i do love, but refuse to watch the updated movies of... still working my way through The X-Files and haven't seen the movies yet, so that's still a possibility, but seeing as i'm only halfway through season two, i think the poll will be long closed by the time i'm ready to pass judgement on that one...

hmmm a hard one for the same reasons as tC.
Even tho I haven't seen Bewitched I agree with maccool111, Will Farrell is a total NOB. So I went Bewitched
but these come in a strong second

There's around 7 or 8 votes for Firefly! WTF! Serenity was an awesome movie. I've never seen the Wayne's World TV show (wasn't it just skits on SNL?) - but I though the movie was great, are you people saying the TV show was better? I voted for Mr Bean - those movies were terrible (pandering to international audiences), but the original TV show was really good.

Serenity/Firefly was put there to show, that there is hope. Anyone clicking on Serenity, especially from given choice, should be given to Ben for some workout practice.

yeah, i have to say, i was a bit perturbed by the fact that Firefly/Serenity wasn't on the bottom of the list with no votes, but, stranger things have happened... i guess there's just no accounting for taste....
