Marathoned it today. I liked it apart from the 2 midseason eps. Enough with the lame comedy filler, get me back to my charming sports doc.

Idk how they don't squeeze 'Mash it up Harry' into the Wembley episode somewhere.

Good series, but really the Ryan/Rob centered eps are the low point for me.

Well they're quite a long ways off from the Premier league. With enough money teams can jump from lower leagues pretty quickly but this'd have to be a very long series for them to even sniff the EPL.

Between the show and being in the FIFA game they might become a bit of a destination. Too bad they probably don't have the money to snag some of the aging stars that usually go to that other sorry low level club league, the MLS, to collect a check and disappear.

Well the bar's been set now - Luton City just got promoted to the Premier League after being out of the real leagues until 2014. And they didn't even have the benefit of Deadpool and gin money.
