Topic: The Serpent Queen [Drama, History]

Season 1

Yet, with her intelligence and determination, she manages to keep her marriage alive and masters the bloodsport of the monarchy better than anyone else, ruling France for 50 years.

Re: The Serpent Queen [Drama, History]

I love a good historic story with some spicy characters and writing, and this fills that need.
The Serpent Queen has just enough irreverence to make what could have been a boring period story,  a lot more interesting, emphasizing Catherine de’ Medici’s cunning , over being prim and proper.

Re: The Serpent Queen [Drama, History]

1) we have "done" Catherine the Great ( The Great with elle Fanning)
2) Now its Catherine De Medici's turn
3) Next? Lucrezia Borgia?

I like it. I can watch pretty much anything in the genre but this is definitely toward the top end so far.
