Well season 8 just ended so you can judge for yourself. Anyhow, it seems that it has been renewed for season 9...

I'm still few episodes in season 8 so I can't judge but it has lost its glory years ago.

With Elisabeth shot dead before both Red's assassination and the revelation (finally) of who Red actually is, there is no narrative device left to force that information out into the public domain.

The supposed driving force of the last few seasons (the hunt for Red's real identity) has been resolved without actually being resolved. Everyone who gave a f**k is either dead, or resigned from the cast!

This episode did underline Spader's talent, though. What an actor.
