Topic: Do you read episode descriptions before watching or go in blind?

I was wondering do you like to know what the episode is about before you watch it or do you prefer not to know anything and be surprised?

I prefer not to know anything before. Not to avoid spoilers but I don't even care to read the episode title.

...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

I only (very) rarely read them... if I'm not sure I watched episode X already. Why would people read descriptions regularly before watching? smile

The only time I won't read an episode description is when it is not available!  I personally have to read it beforehand.  I like having an idea and sometimes when there are lots of descriptions available I'll read ahead so I can know if somebody didn't die after all and are still in future episodes.  I just like it and I do not like going in without a clue unlike some of you all apparently.

Wow!* yikes yikes That reminds me of a former friend... whenever she started to read a new book, she would read the end first to see where things will end up! big_smile

(She would also skip over several pages - and leave them unread forever - whenever there wasn't enough stuff happening quickly enough... big_smile big_smile )

*Did you hate it as a child when you didn't know what you were going to get for xmas? big_smile

Actually there is one more use case - when count of episodes does not match in different places. Like sometimes first or last two episodes are merged together.

I see the episode description in Plex, this is what prompted me to make this poll.

Only reason for me is if I somehow acquired an old show that might have episodes mislabeled and the episode title is not with the opening credits.

I read the descriptions occasionally but usually don't.
