As a fan of Dan Brown and his Langdon books I was suspicious of this adaptation. How can someone else than TH portray Robert Langdon. Well, it seems that it can be done. After the first episode I am hopeful of the success of this show.

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Not surprised.  All the ingredients are there for a great great show, but the leads just didn't have the appeal or charismata (lolz wink ) in my opinion, to carry it.  It also felt very stuffy and old fashioned.  BBC should pick it up.

How do you suppose to continue the story after it has ended? Hire Peter Jackson?

If they were to make another book then it'd be another show, maybe from the Origin book but there'd be only one same character.
