Topic: Allison Mack
A year after her arrest, Allison Mack pleaded guilty to racketeering and racketeering conspiracy, admitting to state law extortion and forced labor. Did you guys hear about this? Saddened and disgusted. Hard to even believe. Kinda ruins Smallville for me. If you can't tell, that's Chloe from Smallville. I hope her victims get the justice and the healing they need to move forward.

Well, no, we don't know yet, but the following article does shed some light on the situation: https://www.artvoice.com/2020/06/23/all … -garaufis/ It must've been a nightmare. I can't imagine this happening to her and then going along with it. Some rough stuff. I suppose she's probably on suicide watch right now? What a mess.

Re: Allison Mack
I watched a couple episodes of The Vow, real eye opener. She was fully aware of what she was doing and what was going on, I have no sympathy for her.

Totally agree. I watched all of The Vow, and if that is how things happened then shame on her.
2020. Meh.

I guess I just have a hard time believing she would go along with this kind of insanity, but if she was not brainwashed and not a victim and just a perpetrator from the start, then why is she not locked up already? If she were a criminal mastermind sociopath who started this whole thing she'd be locked up like Keith Raniere. I'd like to think she was lied to and entrapped by a sociopath early on, and then felt like she had no choice but to go along with the lie and support the sociopath because she was entrapped. Like a gullible naive victim that became a perpetrator who thought the kool-aid she was drinking wasn't poison. Just depends how early on she became a perpetrator of abuse, and somewhere in there is a proportional sentence. 10 years? 20? Life? Not sure what the precedent is in such high profile cases, unless this case is going to set one, which may be the reason why its taking so long to sentence Allison Mack.

Just watched The Vow and Seduced: Inside the NXIVM Cult, and this was full blown brainwashing. They were all willing participants in what they thought was a self help group that turned out to be Keith Raniere's brainwashing program. Classic example of a wolf in sheep's clothing. Some were smart enough and lucky enough to see the stupidity and get out, while others like Allison Mack drank all the Kool-aid from all the dispensers, faucets, and pools, and are completely brainwashed. It's like Allison is under some form of mind control, and not making coherent sense. Some people are just really susceptible to the manipulative and controlling rhetoric of narcissists. As for dealing out judgement on Allison Mack, the documentary says she faces up to 40 years in prison, but what would the victims say? They knew her best. It's hard to judge what sentence befits the crime. I can only hope the victims find healing and will be able to not just cope, but to live better lives after this. g371, I don't understand why the twitter link is on here? What are you getting at? https://pagesix.com/2021/05/25/allison- … entencing/

Re: Allison Mack
Allison Mack sentenced to 3 years in prison. I figured it would be low considering what I watched and read. Other than, "don't join a cult" does anyone have any insights or thoughts on the verdict? Makes me sad how this ruined so many lives.
