Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Slightly disappointed by this Short Trek - the commercial at the end was really funny though!

Re: Star Trek: Discovery
If you've seen the episode "The Trouble with Tribbles" it will probably make more sense. I really liked this Short Trek, probably my favourite so far.

I really liked Rosa Salazar (Alita: Battle Angel) as Captain Lucero and would love to see more of her character in the future. A lot was packed in this 15 min short. Definitely at the top of my list of Short Treks. It all came together quite nicely. And..........now we know.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery
@scorpius074: Thanks, I didn't know they were introduced decades ago already. I also liked Rosa Salazar here. Maybe I should watch this Short Trek again some day... My personal favorite was The Brightest Star, with The Escape Artist probably being #2.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery
Well... that was kinda dumb. "Silly" maybe, but that too is new. I faintly remember a throwaway gag from Enterprise (Archer) where tribbles appeared on-screen. Wonder what the continuity is or isn't supposed to be here...

Thanks for the pointer, I googled that and watched a few (mildly funny) minutes on YouTube.

Where did you get that info?
Maybe by confusing it with the next https://next-episode.net/star-trek-short-treks episode date?

Re: Star Trek: Discovery
Yes you're quite right I did read it from that. After going to a couple of sites, CBS and Den of Geek it looks like it wont be here till mid 2020. They do show a season 3 trailer which was shown at the NYCC here The same trailer is on the CBS website here but for some reason I can't see it, possibly because I'm in the UK and it's in USA but not sure. Apologies if I shouldn't post the links, but I didn't see anywhere that said I shouldn't.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery
Just read this again and it's interesting to see the comment made about the filming locations, and future Trek shows I believe will be in Toronto."
So what are the "future Trek shows"? apart from Section 31 which it does mention on the page.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery
S3 kicks off tomorrow...or maybe tonight somewhere in the world. Looking forward to see what they've done with it. Not enough sci-fi like this on TV at the moment in my opinion, for me anyway.
