Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Right. So basically an icon (like the one that shows HD availability) that'll distinct between Theater and TV/Streaming releases.

Makes sense.

I'll see if it can be achieved with what we get from themoviedb API.

What does everyone else think? Useful?

Yes, that would be useful, even more so if you could split the "When a movie from my movies is released" notifications in two: theatrical and streaming releases.

With all the movie marketing I've never missed a movie I wanted to watch on the big screen (so I don't want those notifications), but would very much like streaming release notifications ASAP. smile

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

This forum looks real good.

Although the alphabeticized Show categories suddenly becoming unalphabeticized halfway down is slightly triggering my OCD nut.

Also, as a newbie, now sure why some shows continue to have a dedicated forum when there7s only 8 threads in there and there hasnt been a post since 2009?

You mean "The" being used as the alphabetizing key?

Yeah, Santah. Why?  LMAO, again...

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Yeah those haven't been sorted in a while.

Problem is, this forum software's ordering mechanism for the subforums is a bit clunky.

I've sorted them now, thanks for reporting this smile

Now I just need to start badgering you about merging the shipwrecked deadwood castaway 8-thread categories that haven't been posted in since 2007 with the main forii and instead promoting todays critically-acclaimed hit TV shows until eventually I have reupholstered the entire forum in my own image.

My phantom-limbed twitter hand keeps scrolling over to click the "like" button but it aint there. FIX THAT TOO.

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Would it be possible to have a calendar view for My Movies? And possibly a notification sent out when one of My Movies is released?

That's already possible, see https://next-episode.net/settings?action=notifications

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

I would love to be able to be able to tick a checkbox next to all the shows that I will never want to watch, so that when I look at the homepage, all I would see under "Today's TV Episodes, Tomorrow's TV Episodes and Yesterday's TV Episodes, would be Show's on my watchlist, Show's I am undecided about and shows that are new or recently aired again.
It currently takes ages to browse through the entire list of episodes under the above headings (90% of which I would never want to watch) just to see if something new or something I haven't seen before is on the list. If whilst I was browsing the above lists, I could tick the ones that I don't want to see in the lists, it would be like all my Christmases had come at once smile. Just something I think about every time I login.
Kindest Regards
Scott

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

When you mouse over a show in "Today's, Tomorrow's, Yesterday's", doesn't a small X pop up right next to that show?

You can click it and "ignore" this show so it'll no longer be included in those lists?

Let me know

You might want to enable "Only the pilot episode" at https://next-episode.net/settings?action=misc and - depending on what you like - "Hide non-English shows from Homepage and Calendar" and/or "Hide Anime shows from Homepage and Calendar" at https://next-episode.net/settings?action=general.

Try it, you might like it. wink

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Thanks santah, I had never noticed the X show up. That is awesome and exactly what I was looking for. Cannot believe I did not see it before putting my foot in it. Much obliged.

Also thanks Lighton, I had contemplated these options but didn't want to risk missing an older show which I didn't know about.

Kind Regards

You're welcome. I've found that it's almost impossible to miss a good older show if you regularly read the TV Show Discussions forum. smile
