Topic: "Search Engines" for show pages - please comment
Hi,
some suggestions regarding the "Search Engines" at https://next-episode.net/settings?action=sEngine :
- update the related text at https://next-episode.net/news-permalink-833.html - I had no idea what this setting was about after reading the news
- add some text (that's permanently displayed) at https://next-episode.net/settings?action=sEngine about what this setting does exactly (even after reading the short info it was not fully clear to me)
- add some templates* that can be added to "Your Search Engines" (but still edited) with just one click (in addition to the manual "add new" feature)
*In addition to Google, I just added:
Name: IMDb (via Google)**
URL: https://www.google.de/search?q=imdb+#show_name#
(I found that searching IMDb via Google often returns better results than to search the IMDb site directly)
Name: Trailer (YouTube)
URL: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=search_videos&search_query=trailer+"#show_name#"&search_sort=relevance&search_category=0&page=
I bet others have more good ideas for templates!
**Maybe even auto-enable some kind of IMDb search on all show pages where there is no IMDb link under "More Info:"!
