Re: Elementary
Not bad, but predictable and forgetabble. It had better episodes this season.

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

I'm REALLY enjoying this show, a year ago I would laugh at you for saying that it would so so good.

I also have to admit that i was wrong with my initial reaction to the show. It definetly won me over.

Re: Elementary
The one slight I have with this is that the seem to go out of their way to make Watson spotting things that Sherlock missed or didn't point out. It only bugs me because it is Sherlock Holmes and the rate at which he apparently miss things that Joan points out bothers me. Sherlock's been my favorite character in all media for the last fifteen years.

Re: Elementary
Elementary still needs to learn NOT to use more famous actors for their main villians. This shit can be on CSI all day, but here it's part of the fun.

Re: Elementary
This season was great and I'm happy that the show got another season. I also never thought that the modern combination of Sherlock and Watson could work, but Elementary proved me wrong

So, what do you guys think about Kitty? I was sceptic at first, but I quickly learned to really enjoy her as a new character.

Re: Elementary
I agree. I found her slightly boring at first, but she has really grown on me. I like the addition of her character so much more now that we know more of her back story, has gotten more of a chemistry with the other characters, and has her own cases.

Re: Elementary
Yeah she also won me over thanks largely in part to her back story and the fact that she's been coming into her own working independent cases with Watson, and challenging Sherlock every now and then. I'm glad the writers decided to expand her character a bit more while adding some twist to the relationship between Sherlock and Watson, and her new endeavors. Definitely has a permanent spot on my watchlist.

▼Spoiler It appears so... Elementary Boss: After Kitty's Exit, Sherlock and Watson Must 'Evolve' ......With her arc wrapped up, “We’re going to miss Kitty as much as Sherlock and Joan will,” Doherty {executive producer} says in a statement. “But with her departure, it’s time to turn the page to the next chapter for Sherlock and Joan.”..... Re: Elementary
If they keep to books, then Kitty wasn't a major character at all. Personally I think they should go back to the orginal premise, Sherlock and Watson, but I'm a traditionalist!

Re: Elementary
I'm cool with it, as Kitty did enable the Sherlock/Watson relationship to develop in new directions.

Re: Elementary
I expect that Moriarty is still in the regular rotation and will show up again. The actress who plays her seems to be rather busy elsewhere of late. That might have something to do with her absence on Elementary.

Re: Elementary
I agree with "graybags"...the show should go back to the Holmes/Watson only formula and keep close to the original theme of Sherlock Holmes...this is barely watchable now.

Indeed. Well done and will be missed. Can't say that for a lot of shows.
