Topic: Pennyworth
Pennyworth
Pennyworth follows Bruce Wayne's legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth, a former British SAS soldier who forms a security company and goes to work with Thomas Wayne, Bruce's billionaire father, in 1960's London.
https://next-episode.net/pennyworth This looks promising, S01E01 was great. A lot of action, funny, violent. No grown-ass men in a rubber costumes so far. Good that there were the subtitles, a brutal English accents. P.S. If this is in the 60ies, then how old is Batman?

What do you mean how old...
...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Re: Pennyworth
I hate Paloma Faith, I hate her face, I hate her hair, I hate her accent... First episode didn't convince me, I'll give it a few more chances.

At least she is punched in that face more than once.. IMDB 8.2 sounds about right.

Re: Pennyworth
I'm so sick of DC skirting around their real heroes, the current developers at DC obviously have no idea how to actually make good stories about Superman and Batman and are afraid to take a chance.....this is the fourth TV series that takes place "around" Batman. Gotham Pennyworth Batwoman Titans even Arrow is effectively Batman lite, so that's actually 5 Could you imagine how crap the MARVEL universe would be if they didn't develop Stories about Iron Man, Cap, Thor and Hulk? Let's not forget Superman gets the same treatment with Supergirl and Krypton. I'm eagerly awaiting the next announcement that we will get a show about Bruce Waynes groundskeeper and Hairstylist teaming up and what Clark Kents newspaper delivery boy does on his time off.

Great idea! I'm also looking forward to "Bruce Wayne - Kindergarten Friends" and "Clark Kent's Office Bros"

Re: Pennyworth
I would skip any series with Batman and/or Superman. Or Spiderman. Or any other -man So for me this works. Unless Batman will appear, then I'll drop these series as well. All these something-universe is like drilling a few fairy-tales over and over, and over again. It was borderline interesting the first time.

Re: Pennyworth
Imo, all is good, the first 3 episodes were "available" together, I don't think that 2nd and 3rd actually were released at the time I watched S01E03 already weeks ago. So after today release dates will catch up and problem solved.

Re: Pennyworth
Btw this is a rare case when it would be nice if it would be possible to mark unreleased episodes as watched, so they don't pop up when released. From time to time this happens.

Re: Pennyworth
Not sure how that could work... since the air dates are pulled from external sites.

Yeah, that's the problem since there's no way to fetch that data if it's not available on TVmaze or thetvdb. However, if the episode listing is already available here then it should be possible to do what g371 described earlier, but that would be up to santah. Otherwise, you would have to input that information manually and that was already addressed by santah in another thread.

Re: Pennyworth
And it also should be done with a clever UI solution, because otherwise if people will misunderstand it, then they can check off episodes by mistake and miss them.
