Topic: "The Big Bang Theory" is coming to a close
...CBS and Warner Bros TV then dropped the bombshell on August 22 that season 12 will be the last ever season of the long-running sitcom, following speculation that it would end when the cast's current contracts were up.

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

All I can says is "Thank God, at last". It hung on for about 8 or 9 seasons too long, just repeating the same jokes over and over and over again. Don't get me wrong, it was never a bad show, but I really don't understand how it became such a ratings behemoth.

Jim Parsons is going to have to work hard to overcome being pigeonholed as Sheldon. His voice and manner of speaking are so distinctive. Not sure about Penny (will she always be the funny, sexy blonde?), Koothrapali or Bernadette, but I know Leonard and Wolowitz can act beyond their BBT characters. Acting doesn't seem to be Amy's true focus: she writes books and does lots of other stuff. Frankly, I stopped watching a couple of seasons ago. The Husband still watches and I catch a skit here and there when I walk thru the room. It pretty much became the Sheldon Show in season 2 or 3 so I really don't care that it's ending.

I must say that until now the season is not very funny
Previous season my girl and me thougt that it would be a good thing to end it now. It's will be sad if it ends like two and a half men

Tried catching up on the show after i left it in teh early seasons, can't stand the show anymore.

No complaints from me, i watched all episodes of TBBT. Yes it's not really often funny and yes the first couple of seasons were the best, but still in all 12 seasons it belonged to the shows in my list, i could easily watch and where it dident feel like a chore to keep up, which i feel with several other shows i follow. I think in the future it will belong to the comedy shows i can rewatch again like Friends, How i met your mother, Two and a half man and King of Queens.

It was a very emotional series finale. Loved the finale, and loved the show. I'll miss you too!
