Re: Adblock message
What the hell? This site was already whitelisted, so I disabled it all together (Chrome). Didn't help. Only Adblock Plus, no antivirus, no VPNs, nothing. I thank you for your work, but I guess I'll have to find a different site that isn't broken.

Re: Adblock message
2016-06-09 I'm guessing is the date you first visited the forums (which is an inconsistency between the site and the forums which I should probably fix). You're using the site since October 2015 - you can see the exact date you were registered on Next Episode on the bottom of the page here: https://next-episode.net/settings?action=cUserInfo As for the cause of the popup - have you tried in another browser?

Re: Adblock message
If I use a vpn, I get an insane amount of "adblock messages". It took med a couple of times before I realised the issue. So if anyone enters the site, and get constantly spammed when you don´t use adblock or similar, if using a vpn consider turning it off.

Re: Adblock message
Yeah, VPNs sometimes filter out ads causing those issues. I've added VPN as a list of possible causes here: http://next-episode.net/rundown.html

Re: Adblock message
This adblock shit is way too annoying, i'm not going to allow a bunch of ad stuff just for this site. Btw im also a member for longer then 2016-06-09 so that date means nothing.

Re: Adblock message
This date is for the forum only, and is most likely showing when I joined the forum and website accounts (that's when your forum account was created). Cheers!

Re: Adblock message
There seems to be a problem with Firefox currently, I have turned off adblock and privacy badger, but the site still shows the pop-up, and from what I can see behind it, there are no ads shown. Still works fine in Chrome though.

Re: Adblock message
Any chance the Firefox tracking protection is on? (you can check for that by clicking that lock icon on the left on the url in the address bar)

Re: Adblock message
I'm using Firefox's option to block all trackers and third party cookies and I get this adblock message. Is it a bug or is it supposed to be working this way?

It's blocking AdSense functionality, essentially preventing ads from showing up - that's why it's triggering the popup.

Re: Adblock message
Even though I've disabled adblockers, I STILL, after much troubleshooting, end up with the screen telling me to disable my adblocker. I finally found the issue! Even though I allow ads, I DO NOT ALLOW ads to track me. That is enough to give the popup that prevents any site interaction on next-episode. It's a pain in the keester to deal with, but I will never allow ads to track me again. If it means I lose site functionality here, so be it.

Thanks Santah, but Avast has isolated the problem. The ads request tracking info which I refuse to allow. If I switch the ad trackers on the site works normally, but I'm not willing to do that. When I allow the trackers, I get loaded down with ads from conservative media. I disabled Facebook over a year ago because of this, and things are gearing up for a repeat due to the upcoming election. I'm SICK AND TIRED of being asked who the better president is!

Re: Adblock message
Ok so, maybe try Premium - https://next-episode.net/premium ? It'll get rid of those issues for you and give you cool new features (and support my work) ... Cheers!

Re: Adblock message
So are we being now forced to buy premium to use your website or is this just some kind of bug where the adblock message continuously pops up even when i have adblock completely disabled on this website as to not be a jerk? Edit: just a little more info, it worked completely fine till today, i had adblock disabled on this website so the message never popped up before with it disabled & suddenly today it simply refuses to go away...

Re: Adblock message
Something else on your system is blocking the ads. Consult this list for what it may be: http://next-episode.net/rundown.html Let me know!

Re: Adblock message
Well i'm back some hours later now, so far while typing this message i had home page open and no popup came up, i haven't changed anything prior to my previous pop up issue i wrote in the message above, so whatever it was it must of been on website's side as i changed nothing & now once again no pop up (hopefully it doesn't come back again later).

Re: Adblock message
Hi. Love the site and will check out premium. The site is on my whitelist and Im fine with the ads. Using adblock for the flashy/sound/fullscreen some sites use. One strange item tho. Site works great and ads are showing. However today I got the pop up saying you are blocking ads. Im not and I checked the list of other reasons. However I cant find the reason. It only happens when click and watch the trailer here: https://next-episode.net/waco Strange as for other shows the trailers play fine. Keep up the great work.

Re: Adblock message
Hey, love what you've made here. Wanted to let you know that I've gotten the adblocker popup about 5-6 times now in the past 2 weeks, but I don't have any adblocker installed in the browser I use for next-episode. Using Chrome 76.0.3809.132 (64-Bit) (Windows)

Did you also have some issues with your internet connection? The popup sometimes shows up when internet is poor and it cannot load the ads properly ... Let me know!

Re: Adblock message
I've disabled adblock and followed all the other steps to ensure I'm not messing around with the ads on your site, but I'm still getting the adblock message popping up. Being South African, our exchange rate doesn't give me the earning power to go premium at the moment but I really enjoy your site. I may have to consider other alternatives if I cannot get rid of this adblock message though... it is incessant!

Re: Adblock message
If you're logged out of the site, do the ads load for you? Are you getting the adblock popup on each page load or does it sometimes show up and sometimes not? For example on the homepage, if you refresh it 10 times, will you get it 10 times?
