It would be great to have something like this:

Re: Features/Improvements RequestsUnfortunately there is no way to know (automatically and/or for enough shows to be useful) the episode order of the shows (so we can't know if an episode is a season finale or not) and when an episode is a mid season finale ... Re: Features/Improvements RequestsI second tstddj - all articles should be ignored when alphabetizing. That's just standard practice. Re: Features/Improvements RequestsWould it be possible to implement the custom tag feature from episodes, into the movies list? I would like to be able to sort my movies into different categories, depending on which streaming service I can watch them and the type of movie it is. 980 2017-09-08 22:12:08 (edited by NikTr 2017-09-08 22:15:19)Re: Features/Improvements RequestsI think the Movie section needs a choice between "Add DVD to watchlist" and "Add Theater to watchlist". dvdreleasedates.com has a list of Blueray and DVD releases. So far it's been pretty accurate. But you can't register or make a watchlist there. If you add this feature to your website im pretty sure you'll gain massive popularity. Re: Features/Improvements RequestsI would like to have the user score visible when browsing the shows list, not having to visit the page of the show to check it. It would make everything so much easier to filter out the shows that people really not like. Re: Features/Improvements Requestssofieamalieb wrote:
Good suggestion. Adding it to my TODO, but can't promise when it'll happen. NikTr wrote:
They get their data from themoviedb.com (like we do) so adding more movie release dates to Next Episode can and probably will happen. kras wrote:
Ratings in all lists will happen soon! Re: Features/Improvements RequestsI have marked some episodes as "watched" in error. Is there a way to undo this? if not, can this be implemented? Secondly, when browsing through titles, it would be nice to have the option of viewing alphabetically. Re: Features/Improvements Requestsggss wrote:

http://xkcd.com/488/ Re: Features/Improvements RequestsCan we have a custom filter on the TV Schedule page to show only certain times of the day such as "Prime Time Only" or 20:00 - 21:00? Even better if we can configure and create custom time names. Re: Features/Improvements RequestsThanks for the suggestion yarzo. Will take it into consideration. Re: Features/Improvements RequestsI can't remember if I've already requested this, but how about a "Stopped watching" feature? Something like the Stop Tracking feature, but for when you stop watching a show, because you just don't care any more. For example I watched The Simpsons for something like 22 season before I stopped and the only way to stop it showing up was to just remove it from my watchlist. The reason I wouldn't want to use the Stop Tracking feature is that I use that to queue shows to watch while the season completes and I wouldn't want to mix those two things. I can imagine this would be quite a bit of work, because it'd affect the very core of the site functionality, but any interest in this? Re: Features/Improvements RequestsI use a Dropped tag for that very purpose, but as you say, the only way to get rid of the show from the frontpage watchlist and schedule is to Stop Tracking. Generally this is not a big issue, except for instance with Top Gear, where I'm re-watching and tracking the old shows but don't care about the new shows. So I'm stuck with having it on my frontpage even though I don't want it toidol wrote:
Re: Features/Improvements RequestsApologies if this has already been asked/is already present but it would be good to be able track only a specific countries channels (i.e. I'm a UK viewer and would prefer to track things legitimately) Re: Features/Improvements Requestsspecialks wrote:
If you are talking about air times, then no. Sorry DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".
http://xkcd.com/488/ Re: Features/Improvements RequestsIn the Track link I can mark my shows as aquired / watched. https://next-episode.net/track What would be cool if I could do the same in the calendar view. Simply have a checkbox at the end of the episode name at the date where I could check off what I've seen. Re: Features/Improvements RequestsThanks for the suggestion. 993 2017-10-28 13:35:58 (edited by rhino491 2017-10-28 13:42:19)Re: Features/Improvements RequestsI have a suggestion for the track episodes page. I have an extremely long watch-list and it is very annoying having to scroll all they way down to search for a show that starts with a letter towards the bottom of the alphabet. If possible do you think you could include a toggle for a tab on the side where you can click the letter and it will bring you to that section? Also for requesting a show, is there a reason why it is only allowed to add shows that have been advertised on TheTVDB and TVMaze? Would you be open to addition sources such as IMDB, or is there a reason this isn't allowed? Im curious because I do a lot of research into upcoming shows and IMDB seems to have a lot listed that these other sites don't have. Thanks Re: Features/Improvements Requestsrhino491 wrote:
IMDB doesn't have an API that can be used to pull information into the site. TVMaze and TheTVDB do. While there are screen scrapers that will get IMDB data they are very slow and not reliable enough. DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".

CTRL+F ? And yea, it can be better organized, maybe not with letters to pick from, but integrated search filter that will narrow down your list once you start typing (like it works on the mobile app). I've been meaning to add this to the site at some point, so it'll happen eventually ... Re: Features/Improvements Requestssantah wrote:
I can't believe I didn't even think of that. Thanks, thats a perfect solution. Looking forward to the upcoming additions... Re: Features/Improvements RequestsI was wondering if you could perform a tiny fix to make life a little easier? I regularly enter the Not Tagged list to add tags to the shows I've recently added. Generally there are quite a few shows there to tag each time. The way the page works today, I click the [set tag] and a dropdown appears. This dropdown covers about 4 other shows below it, often times making it impossible to tag more than one show at a time. After tagging that show, I have to hit the X on the popup and wait for the slow reloading of the site. If I have more than 5 shows not tagged, I can maybe to two at a time.. the top one and the bottom one, before having to reload. If you could move the popup window just a few dozen pixels to the right (see picture), I would be able to click the [set tag] on all the shows (one at a time) and tag all the pending shows in one operation before reloading. Saving me time, saving you database calls, and making me happy Re: Features/Improvements RequestsHow about if you tag them from bottom to top, wouldn't this solve this issue? Re: Features/Improvements RequestsSorry, I forgot to type out the second part of the problem. That doesn't work, because the dropdown above opens under the dropdown below. Yes, if you changed the behavior of the dropdown to work the other way and open on top of the one below it, I could go through the list from the bottom up. That's why I would like to move the dropdown to the right. Then I could work from the top down, which makes much more sense 1,000 2018-01-17 21:09:49Re: Features/Improvements RequestsI'd like it easier to find a forum to discuss a topic in A recent post I made was on Future Man and thankfully that was recently dicussed Finding, for example, a Futurama (may have it's own topic - dunno) would be far harder OK - better example - Legend Of The Seeker (old + rather dead) Posts: 976 to 1,000 of 1,858Forums - Next Episode → Site comments/suggestions → Features/Improvements Requests |
