Like some of you. I lost interest in Arrow after the first 2 seasons. I watched part of 3 then just gave up. Quite honestly, I just didn't like either Ollie or the Arrow. Plus, i felt like if I heard the phrase, " I want to save my city!" one more time out of his mouth i think I'd puke on the TV. You all probably picked up on it before me, but "saving the city", seems to be the catch all excuse for why super heroes do what they do. I never noticed it before the Arrow said it at least a dozen times per episode!
The Flash didn't even make it 10 episodes for me. I think the target audience age for that one was like 9-12 years old. Nothing wrong with it, I think it's perfect for middle school age kids. It's just not made for adults. I have watched the occasional episode between that first season and now, but it hasn't changed, which is probably a good thing. I still am amazed at the numbers it pulls in though.
I started Legends and quit pretty quick. Then, I believe I watched an episode at the end of the 2cd season and was kinda surprised. It was like it had all of a sudden gotten interesting. I've been watching on and off since then. It has most definitely gotten better with age.
My opinion is that the super heroes TV era has just about had it. Netflix and Marvel might be the exception. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Punisher, and the Defenders, are all pretty good TV . Luke Cage is also good, but his first 2 solo seasons bored me to death. But his team up stuff is tremendous.
Bottom line, when they cancel the Arrow, I won't be shedding any tears....
