DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".
http://xkcd.com/488/ Re: MacGyver rebootDamn, looks a lot worse that I thought it could ever be. Re: MacGyver rebootLooks absolutely horrible. I'll stck to the original, which was nice. Re: MacGyver rebootHawaii Five 0 reboot is way better than the original, so I'll wait and see? Star Trek Next Gen was pretty good too? Re: MacGyver rebootThe first episode aired yesterday. It was pretty good and with a twist. I'll be tuning in again. Re: MacGyver rebootLuC wrote:
I enjoyed the spy vs spy vibe. 34 2016-09-24 20:15:02 (edited by LuC 2016-09-24 20:19:35)Re: MacGyver rebootYou know I thought without being so sure that the gal that played the character 'Nikki' might be the same gal who played 'Charlie Matheson' in Revolution, and after some checking learned it is the same actress. I don't think I'll ever quite remember her difficult name, but it's Tracy Spiridakos. The Tracy part is not so bad but Spiridakos? Re: MacGyver rebootIt's Greek to me. Re: MacGyver rebootI may be biased, but i really want this to be good. MacGyver was the coolest guy with a mullet on TV. Re: MacGyver rebootThe pilot was pretty good. I never saw the original. Re: MacGyver rebootit was okei.. Re: MacGyver rebootYeah, I also found it a little cheesy and he likes his hair too much (flips it around and lovingly runs fingers through it a little too often). So we'll see if the spy stuff goodness manages to offset the cheese enough to keep this around. Re: MacGyver rebootI've only watched a couple of the original. I like that his muscle-y sidekick isn't *just* muscle. He actually contributed his brain to the op. Having Nikki ▼Spoiler seems a tired trope, though. We'll give it another few episodes to make up our minds. PS - I *love* Vinnie Jones, so that was a treat! Re: MacGyver rebootOrlando wrote:

I said it before and I'll say it again, Hawaii Five-0 is the best reboot I've ever witnessed and I've just about seen them all. The 2010 series is head and shoulders better than the original and it keeps getting better each season. Speaking of which, this season has started off with a BANG!! So far this season the first three episodes alone are enough to tell me that this season is going to be killer!! Star Trek TNG on the other hand was beyond pretty good, it was absolutely stupendous, and although it wasn't a reboot it definitely was one of my most beloved and favorite series from the Star Trek franchise. There were numerous episodes throughout it's seven season run that were without a doubt Oscar-worthy imo. Re: MacGyver rebootI have to say ▼Spoiler Fortunately, it got better and more entertaining beyond that. Re: MacGyver rebootHey, anyone knows what happened to today's episode? tv.com along with the calendar here lists it for today but can't find it online Re: MacGyver rebootimadsani wrote:
Fortunately, I don't watch this show, but to my knowledge the previous air dates are incorrect. Both TVMaze and IMDb have 3x17 airing a week from now, March 15, 2019. Also, 3x18 most likely will be airing the week after, on March 22nd, 2019. I should also point out that the corrections have already been posted at thetvdb.com but unfortunately, the series is locked and can only be modified by the moderators, so you'll have to wait. Of course, once it's been corrected, it will reflect here as well. Next time just go to TVMaze. Re: MacGyver rebootthanks for the update, look's like i'll have to settle for Hawaii Five-O for tonight's entertainment. Re: MacGyver rebootNever liked the original so wasnt going to give a shit about the reboot but tuned in and soon got hooked. I like their casual approach to bullets flying at them. It's like they think they're jellybeans or something. Of course, as soon as the wisecracking guy with the thick neck exited, the whole show was rooted. That's when I checked out. No amount of "kickass" tattooed mega-hot asian chicks could fix that fun vacuum. Re: MacGyver rebootIs it just me or does the story line feel all over the place, I mean the story reboot at the beginning of this season made no sense. With the latest episode where it is, I didn't feel the connection. Posts: 26 to 48 of 48Forums - Next Episode → TV and Media News → MacGyver reboot |
