The show removed one of the new main characters in the books and replaced him with Snow correct or did I misunderstood what Bran saw?

If you're talking about the baby scene it's saying Snow is both

fire and ice - Lyanna Stark (mother) and Rhaegar Targaryen (father), not Ned Stark's bastard son
