Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

i want to be in one of these meetings. any production meeting, for film or TV. "right so i have this idea, ok its not my idea, it's been done before, but none of us has any original ideas, the closest we come to original is hoping no one realises our new project is based on a book"

Re: MacGyver reboot
I was a huge fan of MacGyver, but it always worries me when they bring shows back. I'm interested to see how this progresses, and who they get to play Mac!

Re: MacGyver reboot
Mac is cool and if they manage it right a reboot will be good too. But if they keep doing just reboots we die of boredoom...

Re: MacGyver reboot
There are so many old shows that could be better this time around, but it's always tricky when it's a show that has cult status. I've met RDA, he's such a naturally funny guy. If they reboot, hope it's with someone who can carry it off.

I don't think this is a reboot. I think this series takes place when he is in college.

This is much worse than a reboot. So now we get teenage angst and dating drama while he takes chemistry class

Re: MacGyver reboot
Miami Vice (must use Hawaii Five-0's winning formula and stay somewhat true to the classic) Night Court (with the right cast and atmosphere, maybe...)

Re: MacGyver reboot
Just what we need more reboots just like Bionic Woman & Knight Rider, cause they were so great. The only decent one has been BSG but even that turned to crap by the end with the whole human looking cylons and their one true God crap....I think thats what they were on about.

Re: MacGyver reboot
And don't forget about Charlie's Angels fall from grace after only 4 episodes. Oh, and then there's also Wonder Woman (2011) which never made it past the pilot.

Re: MacGyver reboot
Night Court I have never watched night court. But what a wonderful idea. Have a court at night! Genius! Question would be, are they handling real cases or fake ones? In any case i would hope for alot of tired people, trying to make it through the night, the bad coffeemachine being besieged during the recess. And continuation of many plots from COPS. Great idea...but i guess as soon as i google it, my dream will be shattered. To macgyver, honestly i cant see it working in this time anymore. MacGyver did not age well at all. RDA however did!

KR had a reboot, it was awful. It only lasted for 17 episodes.

Popular Videos - Night Court Originally the show took place in the real world and was considered one of the most realistic law shows on air. Over time the show morphed into a slapstick comedy where logic and realism were tossed aside for more surreal humor that took place in an arraignment courtroom setting, dealing with bizarre individuals, neurotic criminals and complainants. The show was hilariously wild and cartoonish in nature, with some serious heart felt drama mixed with great comedic yet very clever "rolmao one liners", but it also dealt with some real world issues from time to time, which were some of the reasons that made it a hit. The unique cast of characters and settings were huge reasons why most people considered it one of the best sitcoms of the 80's and early 90's. Not sure if a reboot would necessarily work but with the right cast and effective formula it's possible. Most television series reboots turn out to be awful; re-boot or re-BOO!?! The only ones I like in recent memory are The Twilight Zone (original is still #1), Battlestar Galactica (I love both equally), and Hawaii Five-0 (I like the reboot more). I thought V had potential but I was obviously part of the minority.

It was at a 'meet & greet' at the 1st Comic-Con held in my town, in 2013. Followed by a Q&A session and a photo with him. Just an all round nice, funny guy who is very proud of his daughter.

I met him at Nice Airport in France, in 2004/5 at 12.30 in the morning. He was hiring a car and I asked him for his autograph. Bearing in mind I was 53/54 at the time, he must have thought, 'Where have I landed?' But he was kind enough to give me the autograph and he was gentle and nice and so normal. He was travelling alone, with a bag, and I was overwhelmed. For McGyver, I'd only ever seen him on French TV, but eventually we got satellite TV and I watched him as Jack O'Neill, in all the Stargate -SG1 episodes. He is one of the nicest stars I have ever met (and believe me, we get a lot of them at Nice Airport).
