Watched it 10+ times and still jumping. The best part for me was Han Solo in the end. Goosebumps!

Newest Trailer is out, but with subs tho. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdAUiyeJMFQ In case people were sceptic about Star Wars in 3D, don't be, i just watched the following 3D trailer in Gear VR and the 3D effects are great, looks better than in 2D. In case you have a Gear VR or another VR headset or a 3D TV, download this mp4 file and watch on it. https://mega.nz/?_escaped_fragment_=HFN … RNgIoS0-F4

Re: Star Wars VII (2015)
Hmmmm maybe i had to high expectations but now after having seen it, i have kind of mixed feelings. ▼Spoiler The new cast is alright, except the bad guy/Darth Vador 2.0. Darth Maul was way cooler, General Grevious was way cooler, Count Dooku was way cooler, Darth Vader was way way cooler and so on. He was ok aslong as he had his mask on, but after he took it off, he lost all his coolness and became kind of a wimpy mama's boy, who couldnt even beat a untrained girl (but atleast the force is strong inside her) and got nearly beat by a untrained nobody (without any force at all atleast as far as we know) and got also hurt by a simple shot. The scene where he interrogated Rey, was rather creepy than intimidating. Also the lightsaber and force battles got really lame and boring this time around, i hope this improves again in the next episodes. And it seems we have similarities to the previous trilogies. In the first part someone important dies, in the next part we will learn who her father is and who her cousin is and in the last part someone will find his way back to the good side but this time atleast so far, i dont care for that wimpy bad/struggling guy at all. Hopefully that Snoke guy is atleast cooler/more badass.

Re: Star Wars VII (2015)
▼Spoiler I think the reason Kylo Ren had "issues" and seemed like a wimp is that that he hasn't been fully trained yet, Snoke even says at the end he needs to complete his training. I think of him more like Luke in Empire....has some abilities and can use the force to a degree but isn't a Jedi or Sith yet, I'm guessing thats why he isn't a "Darth" So someone like that can crap all over a non force user but as soon as he come across someone that has the force, he cant just steam roll them. As for getting hurt by a simple shot.....how many times did Han grab Chewies blaster and blow the shit out of someone and comment how much he liked it cause it was so powerful?......Kylo took a direct hit to the stomach with it and kept going on and on. I agree he was a lot more menacing with his mask on though but I'm guessing he isn't supposed to be Vader 2.0. By taking it off and making him have doubts etc they can develop his character a lot more in the coming movies, if he was just a super badass and we never saw his face, he would just be a Vader clone and people would complain about that. As it stands this movie was similar enough to A New Hope, we didn't need them to copy the villain exactly as well. I think again the lightsaber battles were a bit underwhelming because both people weren't trained to use them properly yet. All in all I really liked it (I've seen it twice) but it does seem a little like a soft reboot with all the similarities to the original

Re: Star Wars VII (2015)
I thought it was pretty great. Wasn't hyped at all about Episode 7 (after the awful 1,2,3), and didn't expect to like it almost as much as I liked Mad Max (which was a huuuuge surprise as well). Very well done, very Star Wars and I'm very excited for the next ones by JJ!

Re: Star Wars VII (2015)
Loved the movie! A great rebound after the prequels. But Adam Driver was a total miscast. The son of Han Solo and Princess Leia should be looking a lot better.

I will always defend Adam Driver as Kylo. He played him wonderfully and it's a great character.

Can't agree more. Also, as a character, he's only getting cooler as he completes his training (and gets his emotions under control) and gets (hopefully? I guess?) the Darth Ren name.

Re: Star Wars VII (2015)
I actually wanted to write why calling him "emo" is just a blatant disregard to his potrayal and character development, but I'll just link to this, because it says everything I would want to say, only better. Unless you enjoy villans that are as thin and boring like a sheet of paper (like Darth Maul). Also.

Re: Star Wars VII (2015)
Yes i admit i did enjoy flat but cool characters like Darth Maul much more, who atleast could fight like a boss with lightsabers and the force than a emo type of character who gave me more of a creepy/molesty vibe (when he interrogated Rey) who was not really intimidating but whiny (after he took his mask of) and can't seem to fight to save his life. Anakin might have been a whiny kid aswell but atleast i knew where he was going and atleast cared where he was coming from. And he had always a special/most powerful vibe going for him. Maybe i would think different about Anakin aswell and would have similar complaints about him if i had seen Star Wars I-III first and IV-VI later but i dident and maybe that is the problem of Episode VII, that i just don't care for Emo Kylo yet one bit. But if he were stronger and cooler i might but i dont see that yet happening with Adam Driver.

Thats the thing, he's a villain in progress. He's not a Darth yet, isn't a fully trained Sith so of course Darth Maul seems more powerful because he was.
