Since i love Banshee how does this compare to it?

Compares well. Same amounts of violence and sex. If you haven't seen it well worth watching.

I was gonna post this in the Awesome Cinematography thread but it doesn't quite relate. Even though I ended up slowly bowing my head and wiping a few tears of sorrow from my cheek, this scene with the leaves blowing by, along with the background music, really added to the impact of that moment. Even though you kind of knew it was coming several scenes prior to it. Those of you who've watched all of this past season know exactly what I'm talking about. Excellent season, and a superb action series overall. I binged through all five seasons in two days. smile

Re: Chris Ryan's Strike Back

Anyone watching the sixth season? I will give it some more time, but so far the first episode did not have the vibe of the 'old' Strike Back. Rushed through way too much information, and the team acts like a standard 'movie military team' instead of the more authentic feel that Scott and Stonebridge put in.

Re: Chris Ryan's Strike Back

I thought about digging this old thread up smile I was surprised to see it in my active shows again, so I checked it out. Feels like they tried to have all the same plot points/formula as before, but yeah, I really miss Stonebridge and Scott. First ep wasn't amazing, but wasn't terrible either. I'll keep watching I think.

Re: Chris Ryan's Strike Back

Any1 know if theres plans for a 2nd season?

(This show is Awesome, esecially for a british production)

Hi,
this show has started some years before as a BBC production. After 1 season because of the high audience, the show was acquired by CINEMAX, lost from the title Chris Ryan and became Strike back for another 4 seasons of 10 episode each.
Canceled in 2015. Now with new crew as SKY production associated with Cinemax (british) started the 6 season by chronology or the first from this new production. Today has to be released the 6-th episode from 10.
The good news is that there are another 3 shows similar with this:
The Beave
SEAL Team
Valor
The first one is made exactly on the same pattern like Strike Back, with hot sex scene, even the operations commander is a woman.
So enjoy!

Anytime, Anywhere, Anything!

Re: Chris Ryan's Strike Back

Season has turned out pretty great in my opinion. Just as enjoyable as previous ones. Episode 9 left me with a huge grin at the end!
