I'm just hoping that they'll at least turn Todd into a bigger ahole later this season.

Re: The Last Man on Earth
Got halfway through episode 6, decided I hated it, deleted everything. If everyone died of a virus where are the bodies? Why is everything pristine? Why is Phil so utterly stereotypical and pathetic and poorly written? An interesting premise, utterly ruined by Fox.

Yep, dropping it. The promos for the upcoming eps look even worse.

I also quit. Started off well enough but soon went off the rails.

not only do they look worse, they also spoil the next episode - only good thing is it makes it easier to quit. I am out too, I am hoping somebody would stick with it and report if it gets better or (is it possible) even worse though .

Not entirely since we also know that a new ▼Spoiler woman will be joining the cast. But who cares. ;p

Re: The Last Man on Earth
I'll keep watching for the very very rare funny bits but like many people, I think it went sideways in a bad way. It could've been in so many directions but this one was a bad one. I can imagine being hard writing such a show because it can become boring very fast (at minute 15) but I'm sure there were more interesting ideas to develop.

Re: The Last Man on Earth
i feel the problem is, the people to watch a show like this, are us! and aren't we all thinking the same? what started the virus? how was the world when it started? so its almost, to make it more interesting, lets add flashbacks and the CDC and basically make it another one of those shows? I'll keep watching, but only mainly to annoy my inner nerd, by watching a show about apocalypse and be all free and easy about it

I personally don't give a flying fuck and am happy that there are no flashbacks.

Re: The Last Man on Earth
There's just so much wrong with this series I don't even know where to start...well one could start with the title and take it from there - however it's kind off a easy watch and it DOES have its moments and so maybee they COULD make it work still. We will see.

oh no, i totally agree. But mostly because I don't think it would work with this series. I agree with what 'latitude75' said; it's just an easy watch. It's like so many shows these days. I only pay major attention to person of interest and 12 monkeys these days.

Sounds about right. FOX always cancels only the good shows.

Re: The Last Man on Earth
Watched episodes 9 and 10 out of boredom and they were extremely uneven. Most of the episode 9 was great and most of ep10 was pure rubbish. At least episode 10 had a promising ending so I'll have some motivation to watch the rest of the season. ;p

Wasn't my problem at all as I was looking forward to see "The last man on Earth" whatever the past was. Unfortunatly, of all the men in the world, they took that one.

Re: The Last Man on Earth
Well, at least they moved the fucking show forward with Phil acknowledging how horrible he is. You know guys, MAYBE they'll learn from the first season and the second will be a lot better? Who knows.

Re: The Last Man on Earth
Well one thing this show needs in season 2 is the virus striking again, because it's getting way too crowded and at this rate it's going to be a small community soon. ;p

Once the head count hit four I bailed. There's always hope for season two. It has happened before, but often doesn't.

Dropped this as well, it showed so much promise over the first two episodes.
