Just bought this phone, my 1st upgrade since the mighty S2, I was waiting for a stand-out phone before i upgraded, and i think I may have made the right decision.
Very happy with it so far, anyone else?

Re: Samsung Galaxy S6I went from the S2 to the S4. The S2 blew me away and I waited as long as I could for a worthy upgrade. Then the S2 started playing up so I had to upgrade. I'm happy with the S4, but not anything like I was when I got my S2. A lot of people I know have said the same thing. I checked out the S5, nothing special. I checked out the S6, nothing special. My next phone I want to be blown away just like I was with the S2. No SD card slot in the S6? And you can't swap the battery when it inevitably dies? Hmmm, 2 reasons for me not to upgrade just yet. 2020. Meh.

Yea I considered these 2 reasons myself after reading about the phone, but decided it didn't matter to me as I am very rarely away from a socket for longer than a few hours (plus it only takes 45mins for a full charge) and also have a portable charger just in case. Re: Samsung Galaxy S6I went from S3 to S5 a year ago... it seems that I will skip one and go for the next one always so my next might be S7 or what ever it will be called at that point if I still like Samsung... ...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves. Re: Samsung Galaxy S6Got a samsung galaxy young 2. Only 45€ and does meets my requirements. Also wont cry if I break it. I mostly use it for reading e books and emergency internet/bus entertainment. This message was brought to you by a 45€ phone in a traffic jam bitches (translation: satisfied with what I got) 7 2015-04-16 14:59:04 (edited by HomerS 2015-04-16 15:30:23)Re: Samsung Galaxy S6I'm looking at the S6 Edge myself but not sure in which colour just yet. Maybe in Green or Gold Judging from photos the S6/S6 Edge should have a really nice camera which can be quickly launched aswell. Oh and in case Deke you haven't heard of the Gear VR just yet, check it out. It's amazing. I have the Gear VR for the Note 4 and i'm already more than impressed and the Gear VR for the S6 supposedly is improved aswell. Re: Samsung Galaxy S6graybags wrote:
In the first year the battery will be replaced for free if it dies or has less than 80% of its initial capacity. After that it can be replaced for 45$ by Samsung + shipping if you dont have a repair shop in the vicinity. Re: Samsung Galaxy S6I was going to get the S5 when it came out, the the LG G3 was just way better. Amazing phone. One thing I don't like about the Samsung phones is the home launcher. My wife has a S5-mini. DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".
http://xkcd.com/488/ Re: Samsung Galaxy S6I really don't like the way Samsung put "mini" after the model number of their phones,it's so misleading. They have slower processors, less RAM, worse cameras, smaller screens. Just call them another letter other than S. Goddam. I honestly don't know what phone I will go for when I'm up for renewal, but I like the Samsung software way better than all the others. 2020. Meh.

Yeah I'm still using the S3LTE myself because there hasn't been anything that appealed to me between then and now. Although if anyone is going to purchase an S6 I would suggest looking into the Active series first. Other than that the only thing that would tempt me to reach into my pocket for an upgrade is the beautiful concept of a Surface phone floating around the net. Replace the micro-HDMI with USB-C, along with a removable battery, and we would have a winner. I wish it were all true. Posts: 11Forums - Next Episode → General Discussions → Samsung Galaxy S6 |
