It's all a bit confusing. I've always thought that "series end" didn't mean the end of the very last series, but then those goddam Americans call a series a season, and a group of seasons is a series. So to the Americans, an end of series means that's it, finished with no more seasons. Or series. Oh dear.
I hope it gets a series 4. Yes series 4 - not season 4 
It's a charming, moving little comedy that deserves to run and run.
