Re: The X-Files
In mid-season 2 right now, rewatching since i saw some sporadic episodes during the 90's. Does get better and better - though not sure how I'd compare it to the movies.

oh yes luke wilson is always awesome edit: just rewatched it, i had actually forgotten just how funny this episode is Re: The X-FilesAlmost finished season one well 5 eps to go I love the preacher/healer episode Re: The X-FilesQuick question when do i need to watch the x files films, is it between particular seasons? Re: The X-FilesHmm - I try to remember - the two films are weak compared to the series. Re: The X-Filesthe first film is after season 5, is it a story that continues in season 6. trivia?....it was filmed before season 5, so that season was the only season totally planned out to end the way it did. the final movie is to be watched at the end. if you want to delve into the lone gunmen? they are to be watched in conjunction with season 8 "city morgue, you kill em, we chill em"
Re: The X-FilesJust watched season 6 episode 4 - must be one the funniest episodes they made yet lol They Call Me The "Jax Lovah!" Machine!
Re: The X-FilesHow has it stood the test of time? I haven't really watched it from its first airing but loved it back then...well the first few seasons anyway Re: The X-FilesWell I tried watching the show for the first time a few months ago and couldn't get past the first episode so not well would be my guess. Unless the show improves from its pilot. Re: The X-FilesFirst 2 seasons can be hard to watch though there's some very good episodes in there aswell - then from season 3 it just gets better and better. The overlying story arch following the seasons are very well made also. They Call Me The "Jax Lovah!" Machine!

Re: The X-Filesmy favourite show and I've been so excited since i heard. I'm so happy to see new Mulder and Scully! "city morgue, you kill em, we chill em"

It's one of mine too, but I just think it's going to be crap. Especially if the last 2 seasons are anything to go by. And the movies. Awful. 2020. Meh.

I loved the first movie. i snuck in to see it. I know the final 2 weren't great, but to me, they had some great episodes. even if they killed off my favourite character aha. I'm definitely open to it. I'm excited. I still have my watch from 18 years ago. I was 10 at the time. Literally the watch i wear everyday "city morgue, you kill em, we chill em"
Re: The X-FilesLet's hope Chris Carter has something special planned... I take it he's the one making this happen? Are Dave and Gill on board? I still have most of the X files VHS box sets, and the specials. And the movies. *sigh* In total they must have cost me nigh on £500! And worth nothing now... Oh dear. That's something else I don't want to believe. 2020. Meh.
