Re: Banshee

Golden! Cant wait for next episode, a great build up.

77

Re: Banshee

Already looks like a bloody season finale is on the way, plus another high risk heist.

Re: Banshee

Not as good episode as the season premiere, but I still enjoyed it. Sucks that the old intro is gone - I liked it better.

Re: Banshee

OMFG what an intense episode! And to think that after watching the first 10 minutes I thought that

Spoiler

Nola-Burton fight would be the main highlight. yikes

Turns out there was sooo much more:

Spoiler

- Hood getting owned twice
- The shock gloves!!!!

Re: Banshee

The FX and stunt budget for that episode must have been, er, epic. So was the ep. Damn, you don't see stuff that good in movies.

81

Re: Banshee

OMG.  That battle was so bad-ass.  I wasn't sure who I wanted to win.

Re: Banshee

Wow. Just wow. I didn't really think TV could shock me much anymore. I was very wrong about that.

83

Re: Banshee

Damn... don't have the words to describe the awesomeness of this episode.
Best show ever made!

Re: Banshee

this show seems to gaining more and more watchers, would be nice if they make atleast few more seasons, each episode have been decent sofar, no fillers and other crap smile

Re: Banshee

It's refreshing to see a show that uses very little filler. Many show runners see nothing wrong with (or are very tolerant of) filler material.

The extent of the use of filler could be seen in a proposal over a decade ago, when networks were first seeking ways to get their content on the rapidly growing web (in the face of low bandwidth connections). One idea that was for content owners to provide five minute versions of their hour long (actually 40 minute) shows. Having worked with scripted material I could see how you could condense most eps to a five minute clip (you occasionally see some of this, in illegal format, on YouTube and elsewhere). This is not always possible today, which is one reason TV is having another "Golden Age."

Yep you were right. Watched the first season, skipped the second, watched the first 3 eps of season 3 and reminded me how good it is. Gonna catch up on season 2 now.

As for the next ep, here are my predictions (haven't watched any promos)...

Spoiler

Brock dies, the ex-Nazi proves himself worthy so that they hire him, Hood stays on board to avenge Brock's death, Siobahn lives because she has to tongue Chayton of course survives so that he can have awesome one-on-one duels later on with Hood/Burton

Re: Banshee

Spoiler

Man I hate to say this but I think what's going to happen next week is that Deputy Siobhan is going to be killed in the shootout. It would certainly help towards keeping Hood's secret in the bag and it would dismiss any reason for him to leave Banshee, P.A. There's also the possibility that Hood will proves himself in the showdown; making it entirely possible that Siobhan will see the value in Hood finishing the Banshee civil war first. If that scenario holds true then I believe Raven would be killed off instead. Then again who knows maybe both or neither one of them will die. I've read all the synopsis up to episode 3x08 "All the Wisdom I Got Left" and there's no mention of Raven or Siobhan.

One thing is for certain, based on reliable sources, is that Banshee 3x05 "Tribal" will be the episode to use if you want to convert someone into a hardcore Banshee fan.

Seeing how there's already plenty of material spanning across two and a half seasons to accomplish this is saying a lot about what's in store for us this week! big_smile

This attack is a pretty low-tech operation. What magic could Job bring to the fight?

This show is actually the best.

Re: Banshee

No. Just fucking no. This episode can't be real. Such a damn good episode up until the end.

Re: Banshee

It had to happen.  It always happens.
In every TV show/film with a similar plot story, it happens.

I have watched too much TV now to be surprised.  It's still an amazing show, and you know Hood is so mad at the big dude that it's going to be an epic battle.
