Re: 9x12 (Series Finale... again) - spoilers
The finale didn't have any major shocker moments ▼Spoiler I was leaning towards either Chloe or Audrey dying , but it was really good. Gonna miss the show... again.

Alas, another ep with a silent clock. Not bad as 24 seasons go. Loved the way they handled the extra 12 hours.

Anyone remember if ▼Spoiler 24 had silent clocks in the past for ad intermissions when an important character died during the episode and not at the end? I wouldn't say that the second clock was for Jack, most likely for Audrey again since a transport of her body was a part of the "12 hours later" segment.

▼Spoiler ,yeah i thought maybe the second could be for Jack. As if the series isn't renewed or made into anything else, the creators can just say, "yeah, you're meant to assume Jack was tortured and killed"

▼Spoiler i don't think there was a silent clock at the end of season 5 and the same sort of thing happened then. but the show was renewed.

I though that the heli's gonna explode, but yeah, maybe they'll say that it was intentional. But you know what I want, guys? Full 24 episode 10 season with Agent Walker as the lead. Aw yis, would watch that in a heartbeat.

Yvonne, nah... In all seriousness I think she should have a show on her own but as Miranda Lawson, not Kate Morgan.

For me 24 without Jack is no 24... I wouldn't watch it even for Yvonne.

Yvonne + Chloe will probably save Jack in the 10th season from the russians to get his help to solve something even bigger.

What about yvonne, chloe and belock? The serb helper, mate guy? Going to save jack? Although, to be honest, the silent clock and a wry smile as he got in the chopper, me things hes not coming back..... :-(

Re: 9x12 (Series Finale... again) - spoilers
Over the course of just 9 days, Bauer has been shot, stabbed, punched, kicked, blown up, thrown, electrocuted, exposed to nuclear radiation, and so many other things, yet he's still around to live another day (see what I did there?) I think people are reading far too much into the silent clock thing. He'll be back.
2020. Meh.

Indeed The silent clock thingy has no special meaning IMHO. And it certainly is not a hint if there is another season or if Jack dies. A decision if 24 get's picked up again and how is completely open. But I guess the long break and the success of Day 9 has shown, that this format is still good for ratings and has a solid fanbase. So yes - I bet 24 will be back, maybe as a movie or again as 12 episode season or - even better - as a full 24 episode order

Re: 9x12 (Series Finale... again) - spoilers
Peter Rice, Chairman and CEO of Fox Television Group said [said that he] would like to see more of 24 following its recent resurrection via the show's Live Another Day event series this year. "I loved this season of 24, but we haven't had a specific conversation about it coming back yet," he said. "I'm sure we will in the future. It's a fantastic franchise. I think it still has many more stories to tell."
