Re: 4x08If a thread is called 4x08 it should be talked about 4x08, so everyone who hasn't seen 4x08 yet should stay out but everyone else should be able to talk about it. And that means not just comments like "good episode" but to talk about everything freely which happened in the ep and everything up to this ep. Any speculation about 4x09 tho should be in a speculation thread, 4x09 thread or when it's in the 4x08 thread with spoiler tags. But I bet the show writers meant it in a more broad sense that in life in general, people are dying day in day out for all kinds of reasons, while the rest of us are left trying to make sense of it or question why.

Re: 4x08Not to belabor this unduly but mentioning that some people have read the books and know how things are supposed to work out is a wry observation, not a spoiler. In fact, the ultimate fate of Tyrion may only be known to the screen writers because it is no secret that there has been quite a lot of (mostly minor) divergence from the book in the TV scripts. That alone keeps the show interesting for a lot of the hard core book fans. The nice thing about the show is no one knows for sure what will happen. Even those who have read the book do not have access to the outline of the last books the author has given to the show runners in case something happens (like old age) to the author before the last books are published.
